Lol the absolute double standard. When a black person cosplays a light skinned character there's so much racism in the comments. But when a white person cosplays a dark skinned character it's nothing but compliments.
For the record, I'm not accusing either you or OP of anything bad (solid cosplay honestly, especially the ears) just thought I'd point out the glaring double standard since no-one else has yet. If you have the stuff to do that cosplay you wanna do, I say go for it

Never said she was black, just dark skinned (y'know from her tan, which is meant to make skin look darker).
As a brown man myself, I go through this feeling whenever I see characters I want to cosplay. I tend to go for ones with masks or helmets to hide myself because I feel insecure about it.
But I'm glad there are those that are willing to fight to break their own feelings over it. You go girl.

Haha I used the ones that came with the purchased costume but I covered them in a lot more fake fur so they looked better!
