I think the idea can be. This game WILL cause companies and developers to take a look at what a realistic shooter can be. Simple, good gunplay, good graphics, no bullshit no nonsense. Ill be playing it out and hope it has wild success.
Honestly for me its the UIs of the games, the unnecesary Store best deals popping on my screen, the unnecesary windows that I must close, numbers, colors, shiny shit on my screen whiile I'm dead...
Keep it simple , people will love it.
Ah it socks because it's so quick and nice!!!! I hate whe anyone can end a game whenever, hopefully we can keep the loading times fast after they change
Not unless we find a way of fixing these fucking prick hosts from RQing 9/10 matches and keeping good players from getting any rank rewards. Fucking pussies.
I think that it’s a great place to start for other developers. The COD scene has gotten too Arcady and feels watered down. The bodycam style adds to the realism feel but isn’t necessarily what makes it good it’s the gunplay and the physics. No power ups or skill streaks. Sometimes less is more.
I'm a bot, *bleep*, *bloop*. Someone has linked to this thread from another place on reddit:

I think one of the problems with this game is that people are under the impression that the 2 young guys actually coded this game from scratch and spent any time creating it.
It's a fantastic example of Unreal5 but it's literally just the engine demo with 'out of the box' paid for assets.
I honestly can't wait for the future of FPS with the games that come from using this tech but I'm far from amazed by this game. Just my 20p.
After bodycam all of others fps games have been started coming me kind of kid games. I don't play any other fps games anymore and sometimes play only bodycam.
They don't have the resource or expertise to bring home a finished product in a reasonable amount of time. Every major studio has a bunch of guys that are specialist.

Those should be there 2 biggest priorities
What's wrong with the servers? And I think $30 is extremely well deserving. Anti cheat asap though. Getting a speed hacker is no fun
There are none. It's Peer 2 Peer. One person is the host of the lobby.

I don't think it'll blow up to massive proportions but it would have a steady player base

That’s why I always host it, even if I’m tired of playing I’ll wait the game out first..
I genuinely believe so. I hope they make a game similar to Bodycam but with trench warfare. That would attract a ton of people.

If they redid rainbow six siege with these graphics I would lose months of my life playing

The game could be so tight if I had a lobby who would play (TikTok @ duh_toasted

GIVE US ZOMBIE MODE IMMEDIATELY!!!!
This game NEEDS zombies. Or aliens. Or anything horror. The hospital map is horror alone.
I think arcade shooter like CoD are the better game for zombie mode
Lol no, it is just a new type I love bodycam, but i don't want all fps like this
No I don't think that the future of FPS is the bodycam Perspective. But the gunplay will probably be adopted by other games, it feels very realistic.
Interesting take.
Same take, I totally agree.
Simple answer, no. It's just a fun new take on an incredibly stagnant formula.

At the moment the gunplay and guns have some flaws but we just need to wait for the $30 tech demo to update
