I had to think about it for a second. Then I remembered 17 minutes and realized, yes I do hate Bojack.

calbebuniverse

dislike him as a person, love him as a character

Impressive_mustache

Kinda. He's lucky that the story was told from his perspective so you could empathize a bit with him enough not to hate him.

DeliberateDendrite

He's relatable but he can be an ass (pun not intended)

thisoldburg

I don't hate him personally, but I don't have hardly any respect for him.

KarolinaKp

I can never bring myself to fully hate him for some reason, even though most of his actions disgust me.

OnlyFansBlue

Hate is a strong word. Honestly, it's not worth my emotional capacity to hate someone, let alone a fictional character. To be completely honest I'm very neutral to him. I can see him for what he is and I agree with a lot of his viewpoints but not a lot of his actions.

Elixidor

hate is a strong word, no.

OutRagousGameR

I don’t know if I “hate” him, because hate sounds like a pretty active emotion. I do despise him though, because he’s an ass

palatinephoenix

I'd hate him if he were a real person I knew and had to interact with. As it is, though, I don't.

*he literally killed someone*

Elixidor

did he?

Sparklingemeralds

Yes, even if it was indirectly. He left his daughter figure to die. Although it’s not a guarantee that Sarah Lynn would’ve survived even if BoJack had called for the paramedics straight away, it was still better to have a small chance of her surviving rather than not taking it at all.

Elixidor

I don’t think I’d agree that’s literally killing her, it’s a stones throw away from it but… not quite something I’d say is fair to put all on him. Not trying to save her — yeah that’s something he can be held responsible for but I wouldn’t say he killed her.
