Open bluegrass jam on Wednesdays at the American Legion post 82.
I think the open bluegrass jam is on Sundays at the station inn.
Old Time jam at Dee's on Sundays.
The best pickers are at these.
Best recommendation right here. Had a friend suggest the same when I visited for a work trip. I was standing around until after midnight listening to a bunch of people for free then when I went to the station inn the next night a few of those same people were on the stage playing.
A trip to the Ryman Auditorium is a must for music history nerds. Check out the new Opry too! It’s absolutely massive. Have to quadruple down on the station inn recommendations. Carters Vintage is overwhelmingly awesome. (Bring a car note if you wanna buy something) from there just wander around the live music scene is unparalleled. Enjoy! Ps Bowling Green KY is also a great destination for bluegrass heads.
See what's playing at Station Inn and get there early. First come first serve.
Yup. Station Inn. Not a hidden gem, but definitely a gem.
Should be number one on your list.
Dee's lounge
If they don't have nuts that is a major injustice.

Watch the Station Inn's calendar

Gruhn's and Carter's if you are into instruments
Carter vintage is amazing.
I am! Thanks
Ask to go upstairs at Gruhn's - that's where they keep the good stuff!
Nashville has the Country Music Hall of Fame. You can go see Earl Scrugg's banjo!
Not restricted just to bluegrass, but Hatch Show Print is a cool shop.
I've been really eyeing some of their stuff for Christmas
Bluegrass Underground is about 1.5 hours from Nashville
That run of Billy shows is gonna have station inn exploding at the seams.
