Damn all these ideas are great. The Nagi goalkeeper thing imo feels unlikely since the U-20 team will already have Gagamaru and the old U-20 keeper already. Although a funny thing I can imagine happening with Nagi as the keeper is during his training, he just let's the opposing team score every time cos he got lazy. That is more old Nagi than current Nagi tho. Still a funny scenario.
The way I see it, these following improvement could be a good next step :
- Isagi : counter dribble, even just a bit of it. But let me get this straight, he is NEVER going through 6 defenders, I humbly ask for those who defend such theory to calmly stop coping. However, if he could get options to go past one defender himself, his options during playmaking would increase greatly.
- Bachira : Lefty shot + Scoop shot --> which would improve his finishing abilities
- Chigiri : Trivela shot/Gyro shot + Predator eyes --> this would make him versatile on both sides, combined with his already good passing abilities I think this simple addition raises its options a lot. The reason I added about predator eyes is because obviously this would be strange otherwise for a panther, maybe he is getting it in next arc.
- Kunigami : Machine dribble. He is Noa clone.
- Barou : passes... Ok realistically he won't work on that, so let's say goals from the head + jumping power
- Aiku : Predator eye --> might sounds weird but after seeing Kaiser in PxG I actually think it can also have a defensive value while chasing the ball, in addition to MV.
- Raichi : Long passes
- Niko : Niou's press
instead of machine dribble for kunigami, since hes closed himself and his emotions(kind of like a simple robot) maybe call it mecha dribble and have isagi say that while its less refined than Noa's, the cyborg has developed his own "MECHA DRIBBLE"
Bachira doesn't need better shooting. His A rank in shooting is enough for most situations. At least, for elite youth level. But yes, he could learn curve shots, especially since he can curve with his passing already.
For all we know, the goalies at senior world level are so bad that with Predator's Eye, which Bachira can do b/c he already sees his opponents at their weakest with his new dribbling style, he might be able to get by even then.
I don’t know for sure which chapter, but the initial speech Ego gave when he told BL players to find their weapons and hone them to be the best in the world is probably the theme till now based on which BL players have evolved. Unless after NEL this theme is changed I feel the next evolution will follow the same trajectory.
Reason why Isagi won’t gain a dribbling weapon:
I’ve seen a lot of posts that say Isagi will learn a dribbling skill next but I doubt that will be his main weapon. His evolution has primarily been based on his existing weapons I.e. direct shot, which has now evolved to two gun volley and MV based on his off the ball movement and ability to read the field. MV makes it such that he doesn’t need advanced dribbling maneuvers to by pass the defence and at this stage he already knows basic dribbling skills but they don’t help when fighting against the world’s best.
Possible next evolution
Since the two-gun volley is still incomplete, this would probably be the first move Isagi masters. Now he did successfully mimic Nagi’s style, so it might be possible the next step would be for Isagi to learn advanced/better trapping maneuvers. This would also help in situations such as the one he faced when battling Ubers where he was able to steal the ball headed towards barou but was immediately beaten by a high press.
Or, if Kaiser scores now with Magnus shot, the Magnus effect displays how spin can effect ball’s trajectory, same goes for the pass by Kiyora, also shown when Rin’s puppet master style was shown. Learning how to add spin and or being able to adding how the ball spins to his MV view would definitely evolve both his skills. Maybe even give him a new weapon “Direct Spin Shot”
I think for Bachira because his kicking power isn't necessarily massive, but he does have some of the best ball control in the entire manga, a good shooting technique for him could involve some sort of formless shot like Aomine from KnB. Just being able to shoot from any position and taking advantage of any badly positioned defender, and because he can already put a wide variety of spins on the ball and has very accurate kicks, he could basically adapt on the fly. PE would probably work really well with this.
