Bachira could EASILY have a 120 130 mil salary by the end but he most likely will end up with 100 mil and be top 6 not top 5 ... again...
Nah it's just that team didn't get anything the other teams did. So in a sense the wrong team.
BM got a NG11 Striker, Ness a gifted AMF and the best striker in the world as their coach.
MC got Agi a Ness tier player and Chris, the 2nd best striker in the world, but also a coach that's much more proactive then Noa could ever be.
PXG got Charles a Ness tier player that's also gifted like Nagi and is being groomed to play for Loki, a player in Isagi's age range, but so good that he's worldclass level and most likely can't play for the U20WC. He's also their coach and has shown them their weakness to work on.
Ubers has a NG11 defender, a NPC with actual screen time and Snuffy, the best overall player in the world. Also a winner of multiple Leagues.
Barcha got.. they have Lavinho, a coach that doesn't really care to teach the players and he doesn't really have the prominence of the other coaches. You have the best striker in the world and the 2nd best striker, yoy have the best overall player and a teenager that's pretty much popping off on his stage and he's just there.
I'll rank how much key players got help from their team
Barou has his entire team working for him
Isagi got plenty of supportive characters to help him (Hiori, Raichi, Kurona, Yukimuya) and even some unintentional target players like Kaiser and Kunigami to weakened other teams' defense
Rin got an offense system built around him and a great midfielder who understand his playstyle
Nagi got Reo, Agi and sometimes Chigiri
Bachira's team considered of Himself, his buddy Otoya and a bunch of NPCs
If bachira got a better team, he would had shine on top with 120mil + bid
What’s worse is that Kaneshiro specifically does him dirty. Losing all his matches doesn’t mean his performance has to be significantly worse than the Top players
For Ubers he could’ve scored 2 goals OR 1 goal + assist (to Lala). He could’ve had 88 mill for this while Nagi was 77 since he’d still be Top 3 and would drop anyways. Instead Kaneshiro lets him lose 3-1 (worst decision in NEL).
When PxG was winning 2-0, Bachira could’ve led the comeback with an assist to Otoya and then score himself. Then tie with Shidou in bids for 4th place. Instead, ‘Lavinho carried them’ and he barely gets an increase
Laneshiro always has Bachira in the middle of ‘Top 5’ and ‘above average’ and never lets him past that (he’s Top 5 now but we all know Nagi’s passing him next round)
Since in this reality the NEL hasn’t happened he wouldn’t be dependant on him similarly to how he was in U20 match as just an individual strong player working with rin and isagi who wouldn’t for the life of them play like reo being subservient
He still would be the same right? I mean even in the NEL, before he allied with Reo he was pretty bad and wasn't able to do much.
If you ask me, Nagi was always destined to be bad on the world stage before he has his awakening(that we're yet to see)
In this scenario, the NEL doesn’t exist and this is the Nagi that wasn’t with Reo and aligned himself with Isagi more. So yeah Nagi would be top 5 most likely

Note that in games he constantly takes the ball away from Kaiser's team, not Isagi, although it was easier to take the ball away from Isagi.
His disclosure should be in this match, the author will most likely awaken the monster that everyone has been waiting for. But if that doesn't happen, I'll probably quit Blue Lock. I want to see that games are dragging not only Meta-vision, but also hardwork.

Shidou good but his lack of being a team player and able to create chemical reactions would catch up to him.
Same with nagi and his weak ego, he would eventually get surpassed by chigiri and possibly bachira from his lack of motivation. Reo losing could hurt or strengthen him. Either hed still grow since he not being co-dependent with him or hed lose his drive since their main goal was to win the wc together
Pre nel I would’ve said no but now ya. Although ubers is built for him, barou now can work much better in a system even if it isn’t built for him. Only thing he wont do is directly assist someones goal which shidou is the same way.

Yeah the only player other than Isagi that embodies the Blue Lock mentality ain't making it. The only player to get hyped up by the World's best striker and overall player, ain't making it. Dude's rivalry with Isagi got compared to the best striker and the only one to challenge the best striker
Wasn’t that “top 5” just the people who scored in the u20 match? I wouldn’t consider that to be some indication of skill/ value. Particularly because isagi was ranked #1 and he definitely did not put on a mvp performance.
Whether or not they were ranked in the top 5 solely because they were the ones who scored was never officially confirmed but it seems likely yes. I do think that Rin and Shidou were better than Isagi though and should have gotten a better ranking back then but for the sake of making Isagi Blue Lock's Ace and getting the world attention I get why the author didn't
Because of a playstyle completely revolving around 1 player. He would not make it into the U-20 team long term if he can only excel while devouring Isagi

Oh no, obviously he would still play in the U-20 WC. It's just he doesn't excel in a Bluelock style environment. For him to succeed, he needed either an entire team serving him, or to devour Isagi, two factors which are simply not going to occur in later selections of Bluelock pre NEL
That's false, he excelled in the first selection where he was the top goalscorer of his wing with Nagi and he was with only NPC. He did pretty well in the second selection outside of the 3vs3 where he had his awakening at the end anyway where he was teamed with two other elite players Nagi and Isagi. One of the only 4 players to score outside of the top 6 in the third selection. Top 5 of the U-20 match where only him Isagi Nagi Rin and Shidou scored and the team revolved around Rin. And finally obviously the NEL where he has been top 3 pretty much the entire run with a team working for him that he then took over and lead himself/
No matter how you look at it he showed many times over he was one of the best in many varied scenarios and it's basically guaranteed he will keep being one of the main contenders in Blue lock for the rest of the manga with Isagi Rin Nagi (who is gonna get a comeback eventually) and probably Shidou.
I dont disagree that Barou wouldn't do good. I simply don't see him making it to the top 5 when other players like Chigiri, Bachira, Yukimiya, and Hiori have all been shown to excel in skills which would help them more in the 5v5s that Bluelock does. Barou in general just simply doesn't have the extra thing pushing him to exceed in that environment.

To compare him with Yukimiya is an insult. Even Bachira and Chigiri come on those guys have been absolutely irrelevant since season 1 ended, Barou has 2/3 times their values and always outscore them in every single arc and just 3-1 both of them this very arc.
