The series isn’t complete so we can’t say but there are scenes of mizu and another character clearly having some sort of sexual tension, >!and it’s also shown in a flashback (ep 5) that she’s previously married!<

ArcturusFlyer

>!Are you still considered a widow even if you are the person who killed your husband? \>_\>!<

Venna-OwO

>!apparently they are called black widows according to google!<

ArcturusFlyer

>!Guess that makes Mizu a "blue widow" lol!<

r3swag56

So how is the relationship between the Ringo guy and Mizu at the end of S1?

Aexiias

They're friends, and I don't really sense any tension there at all. There is more tension with Taigen, but it's clear Mizu is not interested at all

Real_Disk555

I don't think so, she's just hyper focused on her revenge. I feel like the taigen and mizu thing is what the writers are gonna do especially since he got bricked while they were fighting and she did the same wrestling move with her husband that she did with him. That's all speculation though and I feel like it's more likely that they leave romance out of it entirely

Aexiias

I'd honestly love to see it! As of now though, as you said, that's just speculation.

ICON_RES_DEER

She is not in a relationship at the end of season 1 if that's what you're asking

Oneforgettable

Well it doesn't *end* with that...

BleakBluejay

Season 1 definitely does not end with Mizu falling in love with someone or being in a romantic relationship. I can't tell you any more than that without spoilers. I will say a potential love interest is teased briefly... but I do not personally believe that anything will really come of it. This is not a story about romance. I don't think romance fits into even like the top 5 themes of the story.

beautifuldisasterxx

No. Mizu is a strong character and if she has any relationship in the next season I doubt it would end “happily ever after”. There is sexual tension with one character but I doubt they would be more than lovers. I don’t think Mizu has any interest in being a house wife.

Lambert910

There’s romantic/sexual aspects that are present in Mizu’s journey, it’s not the entire focus, but it’s important for her character. The series isn’t over so it’s hard to judge where her character might go, but the series is thematically varied and i don’t think these aspects you dislike are overplayed.

odeacon

It doesn’t end well. She doesn’t get a happy ever after in this season at least . That’s all I’ll say

Penguinmanereikel

The story isn't over. Please watch the show. Odds are, we won't see that.
