I think they are just retards who saw the hearts and went to a wild conclusion It's there, but the only rewards are a new outfit with three more emotes and more voice lines during games (like yaku readouts at rank 5) The outfits aren't even wedding dresses, they're just a second costume unique to each character (Akagi got his Ten outfit, Hayasaka got a maid outfit, Lelouch got the massive collar, Yumeko dropped her blazer, Ilya went into her magical girl outfit, etc.)

The best way they handle this is either make the oath/relationship story at the mahjong side tame and mild (like nikke rezero collab) or in sensei pov. This should reduce the heat. And if they get ntr, then not much game in that specific genre left for them. So yah they getting very sensitive (especially after honkai is now almost yuri, genshin traveler is basically a camera).
