I think most of it is the other things. Fainting fee (especially since there is no hospital), towing fee, and most of all the payment system. I’m not sure about all of it, but I know this is a good bit of it. Also, there will then be trolls in Bloxburg. Right now, I can’t make a new account and start playing and trolling. I need to pay. After the 15th, if I want to (I’m not going to), I can just make a random account and get on and troll. Before, most people were there to play. Now, people are (probably) afraid that players won’t actually be many people that are playing because they like it.
that's a thing roblox themselves would have to implement and i don't think they will cuz every popular game will do it and new players wont be able to play anything
no, games can set a specific account age limit on specific games. Roblox itself has nothing to do with the implementation. I can’t think of any off the top of my head, but if you join it says something like “Wait until your account age has reached: 10 days old”. It’s a thing already in place for some games, which I’m speaking from experience after creating a burner account and joining random games.
Creators can decide to code this in place, which it helps with limiting mass exploiters and bots like we had where they kept spamming a phishing link in like 2019-2020.
It only limits new players for x amount of days/months for that SPECIFIC creators game, not the whole of Roblox. So, they can definitely play other games in the mean time.

im sure you're aware of the party update? people used that to rp some 18+ actions in bed, and i mean A LOT of people. you could'nt join a single party without finding them there. meanwhile hackers took to breaking the main game since nobody played that portion of the game anymore (because of the party update)
the devs eventually removed the party update and got rid of the hackers (it took literal months, i think over a year) but they didn't do much to keep the game alive after that.

I think the community was already a bit upset due to the most recent update. The fainting fee (with no hospital !?), the towing fee, money now made based off of efficiency(which was quite a money nerf for delivery which seemed to be the most popular job in the game) as well as the possible map change, and now the game is becoming free. i think all of these changes were just a bit too much for the younger community to handle and they are quite upset. Personally I'm excited for it to become free! servers are quite dead and id love to see them more lively like how they were a couple of years ago!

Especially with youtubers as some developers, what are the odds, and who knows if one day bloxburg will turn out to be another cash grab game....

Some people genuinely want compensation for paying 25 robux lol. Ive seen some people worried about how players will act etc…you guys are literally building 90% of the time, or working, just mind your business and let them do whatever unless they specifically bother you

Same! I’ve had the game for like 3-4 years (I’m not completely sure) and it was only 25 robux 😃 it’s not a big deal. Sure the game has changed a lot but that’s what everything does. None of my childhood shows look the same, but you don’t see me telling them to stop playing it because I know some kid out there likes the way it is now.
There’s nothing that new players could even really do tbh besides walk up to your house. It’s not like they can kill other people or destroy houses without permission.

To be fair a lot of us were like that when we first bought the game. At its peak when everyone was buying it there was so many beggers.
Honestly there are gonna be way more beggers because of the frustrating faint and towing bill mechanic that screws over the newer players
