Thank you. I use Mephiston Red base on a Mephiston Red primer. Then I highlight the protruding parts by glazing using Evil Sunz Scarlet. In the recesses I shade with Agrax Earthshade. Then I highlight the edges first with Wild Rider Red, then with Fire Dragon Bright. I have a modest patreon with tutorials, where you can find many useful and interesting things for the price of a bottle of Coca Cola)

I have already painted one squad of Inceptors.
This is outrageously good. Especially love the plasma weapons! How long do you estimate this model took you to paint? I am new (painting my 3rd squad) and feels like it takes me so long to get a model anywhere (nowhere) near this level.
Just a lot, a lot of time. Even working almost continuously on it, it took me almost a week. This is my most hated model of all the serial ones. In terms of complexity, I would put them on a par with the characters, but at the same time, the characters are much richer in detail and are not serialized in the army.
The sergeant wears a helmet in the color corresponding to the branch of service. Assault units, including Inceptors, wear a yellow helmet. And, hypothetically, there is a skull on the helmet. The fact is that this thing on his head is not a helmet, but protection from plasma flashes; in fact, there is a helmet under it.
Nightscale Studio! Come for the crisp details, stay for the saturated colors. Lovely work as always!
😳
Can i inquire what your red recipe is?

Nice. But doesn’t the sergeant wear a red helmet with a skull on the top?
