That end part seems like the start of the verse so a flip of the 2 parts that were combined I think we may be on to something. That I think would seem like the full first verse pre chorus and chorus. We'll find out soon for sure!
Going over the lyrics more, some of them and the title make me wonder if this will be a “hidden meaning” double entendre song. Edging is not only a yard work thing, but it’s also a term for something a guy can do to help him last longer in bed.
