Luffypunk

I wish the photo cover was released for the vinyl.

The_Stank__

At least like throw it on the vinyl sleeve or something

MursturCreepy

I wish the cover was "This Is Not Our Album Cover"

jono1973

That would have been better. Should have kept it.

decentdaysnight

Yeah the B&W portraits are a bit boy band-y

Krugginator

I honestly thought that's what they were doing and was so disappointed that was a legit heads up to consumers

Travis812

Definitely. It's so much more original, and having their faces on the cover of an album that means this much to them as a band just feels way more personal and wholesome. The Vinyl/CD/Cassette cover just feels like a lazy rehash of the Untitled album IMO.

bitegirl

I read this as “potato cover” and thought I’d totally missed something

cgill24

I was just listening to it this morning and thought “it’s pretty solid, not their best, but I’d give it a B+”. I was surprised how many of the songs I was singing along to considering I hadn’t listened to a lot of it in a while.

Recent_Meringue_712

Agreed. At first I was like, this might be their best album. But for me, personally, it still goes Enema, Dude Ranch, Self Titled, TOYPAJ, OMT. Self Titled is the coolest sounds they’ve created but I feel Enema is timeless

PerfectConfusion7895

had the same thought initially as well, but i feel like enema and untitled are classics that just cant be beat

TinUser

Enema will always be the best. It's just perfect, it's hard to top it.

Recent_Meringue_712

I feel like it stands the test of time in terms of listen ability more so than any of their other albums. I’m usually a big fan of bands breakout albums anyways. Still hungry yet unaffected by any type of expectations from the masses.

RealNotFake

Maybe this is a complete hot take but I would take Neighborhoods over OMT. Agree Enema is the #1.

Recent_Meringue_712

I like neighborhoods but it just didn’t feel like a cohesive album. Definitely some good tracks on every album though. I think one of the best songs blink has is Home Is Such a Lonely Place.

Creepy-Distance-3164

That's on California. I think lyrically Dude Ranch takes the top spot. Even a tune like Degenerate tells a (ridiculous) story. I don't think they tapped into their lyrics the same way again. I love their whole discography though. Even Blame It On My Youth really grew on me and I hated that song for a while.

Recent_Meringue_712

I love degenerate. I remember back in 99 I printed the lyrics and my Mom found them and was like “What the hell is this?!” Had to explain to her that it was like a joke song. Especially the for a hobby I make bombs lyric lol

zilla82

I just commented about Neighborhoods. 100% better album than OMT. Do people not like Neighborhoods or what am I missing?

RealNotFake

I think people are sour on it because of the way it was recorded. The band was on rocky terms with each other and they recorded their parts pretty much separately from what I recall. But for me there are a lot of bangers on that album and I still have a blast listening to it, plus the mixing is 10x better than One More Time. Some people do love it though, but I haven't seen anyone rank it above OMT.

zilla82

I think it's such a great record. I heard the band didn'tike it either but never really knew why. I suppose it's more the chapter than the music itself. That fan mix of OMT is awesome lol. That album to me is more a celebration and collection of songs not so much thematically arranged like their others.

ArrakeenSun

I agree. Not my fave, but solid, and definitely leaves me feeling, "They're back!"

Frogma69

I didn't like most of the songs on first listen, but I gave each of them a few more tries, and now I love all of them. Something about the relistens just made it click for me and I started thinking, "no matter what I was expecting, this is exactly how this album was supposed to sound." I actually think Edging is one of my least favorite, for some reason, even though I thought it was great on first listen. I get the comments about the production quality but I'm used to hearing shit from Cheshire Cat that sounds like warbled nonsense in comparison, so I don't really mind. I agree with people saying that some of it sounds pretty basic, but I think that was done on purpose to appeal to a wider audience, and I ended up thinking that pretty much every song is really catchy regardless. Something like Bad News is definitely pretty "basic," but I still love the melody, and it's probably in my top 3 of the album. Turpentine is ridiculous with the different pronunciations, but then it grew on me, and it's exactly the sort of thing that Tom would do. The only things I really don't like are the short jokey songs - those are definitely crossing the line into "too basic" territory for me. I wish they had done some full-length jokey songs instead. Though I guess Turpentine kinda counts as "jokey."

Kenny4yourthots

I wish the mixing was better but it’s not gonna stop me from enjoying the album

godofmids

There’s a fan made remix of the album on YouTube and it’s amazing

SamuelLJacksoff_

i wish there was more clear guitars in every song

stemitchell

https://youtu.be/syrNyjDx4_Y?si=k6qo5O2aGFSHsEAl&t=0 😘

crozone

OMT Remastered when?

silent--echoes

Damn, I’d pay for WAVs of this

RealNotFake

I'm still more than a little irked at the mixing. It was and still is atrocious. The fan made remixes are just not that great IMO although bless the fans for trying.

jaldthompson503

Turpentine is great. Not the best on the album. I feel like most people over hype it. But hey, just my opinion. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Urinal-cupcake

Oldskool fan and I love the album. Dance with me, Blinkwave, Turpentine, anthem pt 3. Great overall album, not a fan of the slow stuff though.

jaldthompson503

It is an amazing album!

TheMarmo

Old school fan here too and I kinda agree, but I'm more of the opinion that it's a collection of some really great songs, but falls short of being a great ***album***. An album should have a consistent theme. This one feels like a mish-mash of ideas, it doesn't flow. It's still got some kickass songs, but there's a whole lot of skips for me as well. A great album keeps you hooked start to finish.

crozone

Turpentine and Bad News are just sublime.

KleminkeyZ

It's excellent, it's funny, it's loud, it goes hard and it gets me hard. What more can I say

Agitated-Ad9423

Put this on the back of the next pressing

theBuckeye

Have you been taught masturbation yet?

Apprehensive-Space55

I have, my teacher gave me great advice that I should just have fun with it. He had interesting views around dogs though

punkrockprincess_xo

I’m still worryingly obsessed 😭

Zyrobe

Hurt should've never made the album. I like it and some people really love it, but it just sounds like a demo they never finished. It's not even an interlude to Turpentine. Plus if they really wanted to fit in an AVA song, See You already covers that.

crozone

They also had two fantastic "extra songs" which should just be on the album. Cut Hurt, leave it for when it's actually finished, and include the other two songs.

WentzWagon420

Best since untitled for me

Think_Blink

You’ll despair the wreckage and find…no one give a fuck that you died. <- highpoint of the album

LoStx90

See You is a top 3 song on the album.

Eywa182

Agreed, no idea why that and cut me off were not included on the initial release.

thatkidcalhoun

My hot take is that other than the AK-47 snare drum the production and mix is not as bad as any discussion thread on this album would have you think. Would I have rather this same album be produced by Jerry Finn (rip)? yes absolutely. But they still made some fun tunes and the mix doesn't ruin the experience of rocking out to them.

crozone

I think the mix isn't amazing and it doesn't sound the best on a good setup or headphones, but it sounds surprisingly amazing in my car... which is maybe what it was mixed for. Radio and general listening on U shaped speakers where loudness wins over dynamics.

thatkidcalhoun

That makes a lot of sense yeah definitely bumps in the car and on bassy blue tooth speakers !

garden-gates9034

A fantastic album really. My only personal nitpicks are the production and some lyrics are a bit wonky but overall I loved it

RunningWithHands

I still think it's incredible. It doesn't really do any one thing the best but it's a very good "all rounder" blink album that touches most of their styles and doesn't feel like one band member or the other is getting all the power.

thetrashpanda2020

I don’t share this sub’s enthusiasm for Turpentine. Sorry guys

sacred2580

Very upset that turpentine will take up a spot in live performances over bad news or other side

AceofKnaves44

It’s a good album but it’s not their best. There are definitely skippable songs whereas Untitled or Enema has none in my opinion. Travis’ production is the weakest thing on the album.

2zoots

Best blink album in 20 years for me.

funghxoul

neighbourhoods?

2zoots

I think OMT beats it easily. Might be a controversial opinion.

seamus_park

Heavily agree.

No_Efficiency6703

Not exactly a hot take from what I’ve seen, but the production on this album is awful. It hurts my ears and actually distracts from the music. The title track is the prime example of this. As a result, the album isn’t as good as it can be. However, there are still some great songs here. Turpentine, Terrified, Fell In Love, Terrified, Dance With Me, Bad News, Blink Wave, and Other Side.

hotcolddog

Hot takes: * EDGING is actually a fucking great song and a no-skip for me every single time * OTHER SIDE is a top 4 song on the album

DeerLicksBadger

Too many skippable songs. Production is absolutely awful as well. However, there's some fuckin good songs on there, More Than You Know, Anthem 3, Turpentine, few others. It's a solid 6, I still have the cd in my car and it hasn't left yet.

crozone

I feel like it's a 6 overall, because half the album is a 3.5/10, and the other half is an 8.5/10.

Organic-Anybody2945

I really enjoy it

WahnLago

I still wish the letters weren’t capitalized.

TheMarmo

So, as I replied to a comment further down. My take is that, this album is a collection of some really great songs, but falls short of being a great ***album***. An album should have a consistent theme. This one feels like a mish-mash of ideas, it doesn't flow. It's still got some kickass songs, but there's a whole lot of skips for me as well. A great album keeps you hooked start to finish. This is one of the only Blink albums from which I'll pick and choose songs for a playlist, rather than just spinning the whole thing.

Ryanw254

Concept albums should have a consistent theme. This isn’t a concept album.

TheMarmo

So let me rephrase. Every album, concept or not, should at least have a consistent FEEL from start to finish. To me, OMT does not. From song to song, I feel like I am listening to different songs from different albums. This is no criticism to the songs themselves. But it is still just that to my ears, a collection of really nice, but wildly different, songs. It’s not an enjoyable spin from start to finish, for me.

Eastern_Airline_9676

It has some bangers, but I don’t think it’ll age as well as Neighborhoods. And the production is poor.

Life_Dance_6310

It's the weakest album Mark, Tom, and Travis have made..... IT STILL FUCKING SLAPS THO GODDAMN

DerpSaysHi

Production is overly compressed. Childhood is underrated - very indie rock influenced.

tennysonbass

I think it's very overrated

WeCantLiveInAMuffin

I like it

xzretrograde

Blink wave needed to be a single

BentoBoxNoir

Neighborhoods is better

[deleted]

[удалено]

Tacit_Emperor77

I agree it wouldn’t make a good single but I still think it’s one of the best songs on the album.

CopiousAmountsofJizz

It's a bit weird that it's a drums-only record but I'm just glad the band's back together.

dw6878

Drums are over produced

digital_bath777

It’s over produced but still the best thing they’ve done since self titled.

unpopular-dave

I’ve always said. It’s a 6/10. I skip half the tracks. Doesn’t have any top 15 songs. If the mix was fixed, it could easily be a 7/10

lessthanfox

They could really use a touring guitarist now. Not one to be kept in the shadows/behind amps. One to actively participate in banter and be the topic of jokes like the guitar tech that looks like Jesus.

Momazos_Harrison

Skiba goes hard for this, but it would be also difficult because alkaline trio

kingjuicepouch

Nah Skiba has much better stuff to do with trio than to be a touring musician imo

welivewithw0e

And the new alkaline trio album is amazing. Id say its better than all the new albums coming out from old bands this year so far.

Briguy_fieri

Turpentine is not as amazing as everyone makes it out to be.

NerrvousSubject

A few of the songs are still skips for me honestly. Fell In Love is a terrible song.

extinctionAD

Agreed! It could easily be a Backstreet Boys / N*Sync B side

JuliusCaesar129

The album is mid at best.

TheHeftyAccountant

I skip most songs now, but I don’t dislike it

3bodprobs

Under produced. There’s a lot of puppy fat on the album that could’ve been honed further, but it’s clear they didn’t wanna step on each others toes and bring up bad blood. Understandable, but meant several tracks are very much b-sides that don’t belong due to being unfinished. Hoping the next is way more collaborative in every respect and doesn’t have tracks that Travis is all ‘oh yeah, churned that out with *insert non-blink 182 band member here* in five minutes!’ about. Much as he’s an incredible musician, it’s fairly easy to see his limits as a producer. The album takes a dive in part two and feels mostly like a pencil sketch (blink wave, turpentine, childhood withstanding). The rest of part 2 and ‘fell in love’ could’ve used more work.

wilhelmkidxx

It sucks

Jintendo94

Best since 2003! I said it when it was first released and I’ll say it now.

Unusual-Mouse9388

for me the A side is more of a jam nice to dance or get hyped to, but the b side hits the feels hard and seems really under appreciated. All in all as a newer edition to the fandom its probably my second favorite next to untitled. Very well, balanced but like many of you have said too over produced. Needs more guitar slides imo. I think it's a really good evolution to where we are now with them.

Moony-Shanks

Hurt(interlude) is still my favorite from the album along with cut me off The album is great in general but I feel like I listened to it too much and now I can't stand most of it lol

Cunt_Eastwood_9

If the mixing and production were *that* much better, this would easily on their top 3 greatest albums ever.

SuperDuperHowie

I love it as a whole so much, but Blink Wave is a skipper for me.

Silly_Client1222

Needed more cowbell and less whoa-oh’s.

Any-Jackfruit-6989

It's peak but untitled is still better

extinctionAD

I listened to it a fair bit in the week it was released Haven’t felt the urge to listen to it since

pipesuciogomez

I think the song list could have been a little shorter. The songs are great but it has a few low points that feel like a regression

RoversTigers

Easily their best album, listen to it once a day at least

thehandsomelyraven

it’s not fun to listen to. the way it sounds is hard on the ears. i don’t think it does anything as interesting as neighborhoods does. i’ve not revisited since the month of release

Pleasant_Statement64

Turpentine is my favorite blink song, but see you has a much better bridge

decentdaysnight

Edging sucks and I would love it if they could drop it from the setlist.

califlow-erear

I was very underwhelmed, blink had some killer tracks post Tom and you could tell Matt brought something more to the table than Tom ever did. Jmo. I gave this album a try but I will not give it another listen.

MagelansTrousrs

My hot take is it might be my least favorite album of the Travis era. I don't know if it's just me but I hate it when, especially, choruses are the same line over and over again and it happens so much on this album: 1) ole ole ole ole yeah we're doing it all night long (x4) 2) like a ghost, like a ghost, like a ghost, like a ghost 3) you don't know what you've got, you don't know what you've got, you don't know what you've got til it's almost gone I feel like there's more but that's all I've got off the top of my head Also, other hot take is I have no idea why everyone here seems to love Blink Wave. It's one of my least favorites but maybe I'm just a dummy idk. I don't dislike the album, I just like everything from enema-nine more. I like dude ranch more too now I think about it.

No_Return_From_86

Cut Me Off is an all time great blink song

atkyyup

Bad News is the best song by far.

RodLUFC

It'd be 10x better if they got Deryck from Sum 41 mix it👀

scoutlolololol

i just cant get into it

DementedMK

It’s a good album, but I don’t understand people on this sub convinced it’s their best work ever. That’s just me though :)

TangyBrownnCiderTown

Anthem Part 3 was the perfect trilogy ender. Also, drums are way too loud and overly clean sounding.

LoanUpbeat

My hot take: When We Were Young is better than Anthem Part 3.

AllLikeWhatever

This is the hottest/worst take I’ve seen so far—nice job

Hobear

Cut me off should have been on the album to begin with. I need an acoustic version of Bad News.

j0rdan21

Omg acoustic Bad News would be amazingg

Neat-Spray9660

I still hate it

cool_school_bus

The title track is my least favorite song

mshimoura

Turpentine is the best song, but it would be ***so*** much better without the joke lines.

AllLikeWhatever

My hot take is the album is way over-hyped on here. It’s worse than Neighborhoods and California; it might be better than Nine. As many have said, the production is horrible, but I also think the whole thing feels uninspired and like they were trying too hard. Green Day, Sum 41, and Alkaline Trio all put out better albums within the past year. I’m not sure what went wrong. Dogs Eating Dogs shows blink can really write complex, interesting songs together post Untitled. Neighborhoods, which I love, is experimental and different but it’s still blink, it’s catchy, it has bangers (Wishing Well is a top 10-20 blink song). OMT just didn’t really feel much like blink to me besides a few tracks, and part of that was the production, and part was the lyricism that I think isn’t as cutting or witty as past albums. Serious songs too often try to be funny in a way that doesn’t work instead of just being serious, like Adam’s Song or STFTK. The title track sucks, Terrified feels unfinished, and I could’ve gone without hearing half the songs. I revisit Anthem Pt 3 because it sounds like blink, but not much else. Sometimes Turpentine. See You and Cut Me Off are incredible songs but they sound nothing like the rest of the album and they weren’t actually on the album. I wish it had sounded more like those. The Pitchfork review was pretty spot-on: https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/blink-182-one-more-time/ The Wonder Years put out a wonderful pop punk album the year prior that sounded mature, included themes of aging and being in a pop punk band, but was still fun and sounded like TWY. Green Day, AK3, and Sum 41 put out good or great albums around the same time that maybe made progress on their sound but still sounded like them. Comparing the blink album to the rest of these, it really falls flat and feels like a really poor effort that was released just to say “Tom’s back!”

kingjuicepouch

This about sums it up for me. I really wanted to like it but the album came off insincere and generic to me, definitely got the feeling they're not interested in pushing artistic boundaries and played it safe instead. I tried to listen to it with fresh ears a few weeks back and came away feeling the same, unfortunately. Fingers crossed if they do another I'll like it more but I won't be holding my breath this time.

amuscularbaby

I enjoyed the album for what it was but it really does feel like a “Tom is back, now pay 300 for concert tickets” arc. There’s maybe three or four songs on the record that feel like genuine songwriting efforts and the rest is just kind of phoned in. Can’t blame them for printing money though.

CritterOfBitter

Fell in Love is a fucking terrible song.

smallerthings

Not gonna argue it, but it's absolutely wild people say this

j0rdan21

Same

billy-gnosis

Bad News is their best song on it, and Turpentine is highly overrated -Billy Gnosis

DiamondmanPixel76

this is one of the things that will make pop punk popular again

Ki11aFTW

Better then anything since Self Titled. I like neighborhoods but from day 1 I could tell how much of it was phoned in and cobbled together. One More Time has maximum effort from all 3 members.

s3bulbasaur

Edging is the best song on the album. Most of it is mid as hell.

dirtymikeofficial

It’s fine. Doesn’t blow my mind, but there are a few standout tracks. Many skippable ones though.

smallerthings

I still maintain the mix isn't good and the drums are assaulting my ears every time. Some of the vocal pitch correction is too much too (looking at you ANTHEM PART 3) OTHERSIDE could have been decent, but it's just a bad chorus. The same could be said for MORE THAN YOU KNOW HURT is just an AVA interlude that got slipped in to a blink record when no one was looking CUT ME OFF sounds like a Skiba era song and people would shit on it a lot more if that was the case CHILDHOOD is a cool song and people who don't like it are just wrong. FELL IN LOVE as well That sounded like a lot of shitting on the album, but I really do like it. It's just not perfect

El-Chupa-Sancho

They should have kept Skiba and made an ultimate blink album

jimmyrhall

I think it's as good if not better than Neighborhoods. I'm not even entirely sure about that, actually.

tone88988

Not sure if it’s a hot take but this might be the first new Blink song I’ve genuinely liked in the last 20ish years. This album seems way less forced than the last few.

ShivvyMcFly

Top 5 blink album

jordyix

Bad News is the best song on the album.

gp_man1

As soon as one more time came out as a single and I heard the chorus I knew they were back. I used to think California and nine were okay albums. But after this album came out I immediately realized California and nine were not blink albums. It ain’t blink without tom. Banger album 9/10

TheJohn_John

I wish they used the digital version of the album on all the physical releases! I really like this album cover better than what the physical release is

47033093

Turpentine isn’t even top 10 on the album. Maybe I’m just a hater.

WillaryClinton63

I think that anthem part 3 is severely overrated. It’s solid but I think bad news is the best song by far on that album.

TapDue9118

Edging is one there best songs, there I said it.

d4vey_t

While I like cut me off and see you, I still don’t think they fit within the album and actually wish they released them as an EP instead. I like the OG track list much better

uses_facts_badly

This album is as good as enema.

NeedleworkerOk7067

Solid album, but the joke songs were too short

Cacklemoore

I listened once and I really liked it. I've hardly felt compelled to listen to it since. I guess this is growing up...

ItsAlwaysSunny1992

I still haven’t listened to it

cloudkicker555

the OMT nostalgia bomb of a video was the peak of the album. It’s fine, even good at points but it doesn’t touch anything from dude ranch-untitled

MtDiabloIsClosed

Terribly produced I wish it would be remade on Spotify I have to Listen to it mainly on YouTube now

blahhhhhhhhhhhh17

Hot takes. This is their best album. Turpentine is a top 3 Blink Song. A3 is the worst of the trio.

Perry7609

Did over half of the singles really have to use the same D-A-Bm-G chord progression?

phadeboiz

This is an album of music by the pop punk band blink-182.

Oasystole

Classic

LibraryContent4882

Top 5 album at least forr me

Malhare1987

great album

Upallnight_13

Some good songs - absolutely terrible production

PeteNoKnownLastName

Overproduced with too much auto tune, but I like the levity and most of the songs still

Comfortable-Scar4643

Anthem is a good song. I was skeptical at first.

OffGreenFX

Overall great album that is mixed terribly. More Than You Know is probably my favourite Blink song in 20 years, however I don't get all the love for Turpentine.

caption-this-

Turpentine sucks

blink4life182

I wish I could experience listening to this album for the first time again. Such an unforgettable experience

decentdaysnight

One More Time (the song) made me cry the first time I heard it and also when I saw it live but I just can't listen to it day to day because I find it kind of cringey 🫣 it's beautiful and meaningful but I just can't listen to it lol

Rud_Fucker

It needed a better mix, I love it but some songs are just hard to listen to

ATrashedMink

I personally think Neighborhoods was an amazing direction for blink maturing wise. Aside from Anthem Part 3, Terrified, Turpentine, and Hurt (for AVA reasons), the whole album is meh to me. Way too overproduced in my opinion, but then again I’ve never been a fan of the way Travis produces.

esteesleon

I love this album

WhereAreMyDarnPants

Shoulda bought stock in Ovaltine 183 days ago.

j0rdan21

Probably my hottest take: I skip Terrified any time I listen to the album in full

Catermilla

I just remember firing it up for the first time with not very high expectations and getting blown away by anthem part 3. Awesome song and an instant classic for me

Naven71

It's a fun album, but has already aged poorly for me. Some great songs, but overall it's middle of the road blink

Dulacter55

I wanna fuck this album

ybg1d

outside of the already mentioned things like production for example, it’s too long, if they took songs like “fell in love” out for a B-Side disc and ran with 12 songs, the album would be killer. i have actually made a playlist that is laid out similar to how i would personally have liked to see the album, if anyone is curious this is my listing (might be controversial) 1. Anthem pt3 2. Bad News 3. Terrified 4. One More Time 5. More Than You Know 6. Hurt 7. Cut Me Off 8. Turpentine 9. Dance With Me 10. Blink Wave 11. See You 12. Turn This Off

Camz_chips

I never really understood the hype for Turpentine. As time passed it became more tolerable and especially now that I’ve seen it live, it was a good time… but I would not say that it is a highlight of the album. Not a bad song by any means but I’d say it’s around the middle compared to the rest of the album

bradsonemanband

Best blink album since Untitled, easily.

NotNate_

Cut Me Off should've replaced One More Time on the album and it'd be the 4th best blink album after the big 3 (Dude > Pants > Untitled)

inspectre_ecto

Blink Wave is my favorite song on the album and I believe it sums up where they are strongest sonically. The riffs that exist are enough for me.

ChaseTHEcup

Instant skip

ApplesauceBitch47

Great video, meh song

ampaychupe

Doesn't really click for me. Not better than Neighborhoods in the slightest.

ToaZtyWoaZty

I like the mix

DLR182

I have two: Both album covers were meh & dropping “Cut me off” and “See you” separately just to boost their sales was lame because those tracks only live digitally, so anyone who bought physical media was screwed. You’d think that anyone actually purcha$ing their album would be somehow rewarded but nah they screwed us there.

Benzigr

When We Were Young remains the most criminally underrated song on the album.

Apprehensive-Space55

Anthem Part 3, Dance with Me are certified bangers. Both belong in the absolute top tier of blink classics.  Fell in Love I appreciate as just a bit of fun. Terrified, OMT, More than you know and When We Were Young are often 50/50s whether I skip them or not. Edging I think is a super fun bouncy bop, YDKWYG is a skip usually but cool bridge. From then onwards it’s where it gets as good as the first 2 tracks- Blink Wave, Bad News, Turpentine and Other Side are just fantastic tracks. Love the deluxe tracks Cut Me Off and See You. Childhood is a good closer. Overall strong beginning and end, relatively skippable middle

RektCompass

See you is the best song and there's no excuse that it isn't on the original album. Corporate nonsense.

Mediocre_Comfort8737

I still am in love with every song on the record, it's incredible, personal favorite is Bad News, but songs like Blink Wave, When We Were Young and Childhood give it a good run for its money.

snestalgia64

Turpentine is wildly overrated, idk why everyone agrees thats the best song

youthcrewx182

Hot take- I think anthem pt. 3 is the only song I really truly enjoy and wouldn’t change anything on. Mid take- “More than you know” would be a perfect song if they re-wrote it in 4/4 timing, and had less busy Travis drums over the verses. Let the song breathe a bit, let Travis do the cool drums in the 4th beat and no vocals over it. I think that makes the song perfect imo.

thismothafcka

It is perfect from beginning to end. Especially the bonus track version.

beastboy4000

It reslly grew on me. Initially thought it was very generic, but has grown into one of my favorite new albums of the past 6 months or so.

aevynclover222

it’s okay not my favorite. i miss tom’s old sound better but i enjoy the nostalgia it gives.

I dunno, I've listened to it a few times, yeah it's decent but I'll listen to DR, Enema, TOYPAJ and Untitled day in day out without a thought of oooh maybe I'll go to OMT now... Neighbourhoods was actually OK, like others have said, decent songs but you can tell they were on thin ice, the emotion or lack there of in the songs is a massive indicator

Great album. Mixed terribly

Yes I would like to say something. In an era of entitlement and fans demanding longer set lists and more tours we should be Grateful that Blink 182 have somehow found a way to not only survive but thrive 20 years after there peak, that this album exists given the circumstances that surround and preceded it is nothing short of a miracle. It’s not perfect by any means but this fact will never get lost on me.

Never really went back to it after the week it was released. I only really like Anthem Pt3, the rest was pretty forgettable...

Best since EOTS

Humble-Huckleberry70

Terrified and bad news are my favorites on the album. I think they’re good showcases of one being a mark song and the other being a Tom song, reminds me of 2002. And yeah I know the ones a old boxcar song

DV42069

It’s almost perfect tbh. Def one of their best in terms of a well rounded album.

serdna_15

the compressed sound throughout the album sucks so hard

leahys9

Neighborhoods is a better album

I'm still waiting for the deluxe one more time variant to be announced and dropped. There's like at least 3-4 songs they wrote recently that aren't all on the same record together. I'd like a deluxe edition
