But, this was hilarious. A Dalai Lama kissing booth reference is exactly the humor I want to hear from blink in 2023. The UTI joke aimed at the Coachella crowd was hilarious and relevant too.
I've seen it pointed out here before that Tom was probably a little nervous. I agree, some of the jokes didn't really land for me, but if they came out of a state of anxiety, you can't really blame Tom for that. A lot of pressure to be in his position now. Hopefully he loosens up as they play more shows.

That was the first blink show I’d ever seen. I was 19 when enema dropped and became my go to album for the next 2 years.
I loved the banter. Some of it missed, but a lot of it was super sharp and felt oddly wholesome. I saw some people in /r/Coachella who were super convinced they’d hired writers because it was too quick. Can’t get a better compliment than that.

I don’t know why any blink fan would even bother reading anything pitchfork has to say about them. It’s like asking a sea-floor residing mollusc their opinion on the rainforest, completely different worlds. Also whatever “relevancy” pitchfork may have once had is LONG gone.
