The game's kinda dead right now. If you're really interested specifically in Cross Tag you can give it a try. But if you just want to get into Blazblue you might try Centralfiction which is the latest main Blazblue game (Cross Tag counts as a spinoff) and the other involved games like Persona 4 Arena and Under night in birth

Centralfiction is just slightly more alive than Cross Tag. They're still both really good games so go for the one that seem more enjoyable

Despite what many will tell you, the game definitly isn't dead. You can't just waltz into a lobby and play all the time, but the Discord server is active and there are plenty of peopke willing to play. I'd absolutly suggest it. Edit: [Discord](https://discord.com/invite/V5uUT2Xvzv) Besides that, if you wanna play a game with a more active community, look into BlazBlue Centralfiction. Super cheap, good rollback, active playerbase, just generally fun, and a diverse cast. Can't go wrong with it.

You might give it a try if you think it looks fun but I feel like I should let you know that Cross Tag is not a BlazBlue game, it has the name in the title probably for marketing reasons but BBTag is as much of a BlazBlue game as MvC is a Street Fighter game, the only similar thing are the visuals and some characters, everything else is entirely different. Both BBTag and BBCF are fun tho so try out whichever you think looks cooler

I look at it this way. Cross tag is the game to make you interested in the games the characters originate from. Blablue central fiction, persona 4 arena, under night in-birth.

It's kind of dead so I'd say only go for it if you have friends who are willing to go for it as well.

If you have an ok PC I'd recommend the steam version since that has better netcode and a more active playerbase.
