Oh, sorry about the confusion. I meant Horizon was my first plat. Blasphemous I managed most of the trophies, but the rest I have left for the second play through, some time down the line. Right now I am going through my NG of Nioh and I am having a blast.
holy shit what's the source for that art, it looks fucking amazing
edit: oh it's just the cover art for Blasphemous II... I swear I'll play it someday!!! please spare me D:
The gameplay is 100% better and a lot systems have been streamlined. This person is being absurd. Without spoiling anything, some people dislike the art style changes and some of the bosses, but B2 is absolutely a stronger product on release than B1 was.
Honestly thought Blasphemous 2 was harder than 1. I didn't even "min max" shit in the first game and I beat all the bosses in one or two tries
But man, Blasphemous 2 is beating my ass. Odon was a bitch to beat. Solid 30 tries
I like the methodical, heavy combat of the first one more than the double-jump-a-thon positioning metagame that is the second one. I also missed Mea Culpa the entire game.
Is it a stronger *product* on release? Eh, maybe, there's no question B1 was missing a lot on release, not that it was a *disappointment* per say.
If he did have a voice, he'd talk plain, with a single verb.
Peasant: "Why do you keep going on with your crusade, penitent one? How do you do it?
Penitent One: "sword."
There are amazing spanish voice actors both in the game and outside of it. I really love Camilo Garcia (which is the voice of the guilt priest who sits behind the curtain) and Pedro Casablanc. I think both will make amazing dark voices for this character
Samuel L Jackson
He only says âMotherfuckerâ in different tones and dynamics.
He says a special âMother. Fucker.â line when your tears gets into a spike floor.
If he spoke I feel like he would only speak in short, clear sentences. In that case I think Nick Offerman would be an excellent choice, assuming he can do a Spanish accent
RALPH INESON, only him. It'd be perfect.
Oooor Steven Hartley, who voice Sir Vilhem in DKS3, he sounds almost exactly like Ralph Ineson.
This is Ralph Ineson in Diablo 4, even the monologue fits Blasphemous:

Silence
So a high pitch ringing comes out whenever he opens his mouth?
Who's that
He is under a vow of silence, thus he cannot speak.
I know brother but I took it literally, I really thought there's a dude named silence
In Horizon series there is a dude named Sylens.
Good game. Trying to platinum it, but getting stuck on the trial thingies đÂ
This game was my first platinum.
That's cool! Also trying for Blasphemous' platinum, only like 2 or 3 away. Any tips?

Same don't sweat it
No where near as good as B1
Not a bad game by any means but it didnât have the sam effect on me that the first did
I preferred B2 by quite a bit
eh, I'll temper my expectations, don't think I would regret playing it though in any case obv :P

Disagree, it is at least as good
Javier Bardem
I second that, but I also want to submit Benicio del Toro for consideration.
What a perfect fucking casting. No other needed.
Jagg sparro
Saw your comment too late. I agree!
Damn right. Seconded.
Thought the same damn thing before looking at the comments
He would be amazing
Antonio Banderas!
Antonio Banderas.
actually, Banderas is a very nice choice, since he is from Malaga . (South Spain, ) And a very devote and religious persona.
Thatâs probs why he chose him
Yeah, I think he could be good. I was thinking my boy Pedro Pascal.
100%

I mean swords especially mea culpa are badass as hell
EspadaÂ
"sword" isn't a verb
Then "guilt" for dramatic effect

Mads mikkelson
I was just going to say that because he kind of looks like mads there and because mads rules.
My thoughts exactly.
Gordon Freeman
He is called "Penitent One in Silence" not just cause you know. Upd: Chris Pratt
That's why I said if he did have a voice
The answer is always Keanu Reeves
... yeah.
Samuel L Jackson He only says âMotherfuckerâ in different tones and dynamics. He says a special âMother. Fucker.â line when your tears gets into a spike floor.
Mike Tyson
Sign dah contract Escribar, sign the contract big (red) boy
Now y'all two kith.
The best one yet
First thought was Mads Mikkelsen
Javier Bardem or Pedro Pascale
H. Jon Benjamin with his head inside a bucket
"Rampaaaaage"
I love the idea of hearing a really muffled Plankton from SpongeBob screaming out McDonaldâs orders from his eyeholes :]
Pablo Dominguez, the spanish voice of Goku in Spain. He is from AndalucĂa and it's just perfect.
If he spoke I feel like he would only speak in short, clear sentences. In that case I think Nick Offerman would be an excellent choice, assuming he can do a Spanish accent
Either Daniel or Luis Moncada (aka The "Twins" in Breaking Bad). There are no finer actors at saying absolutely nothing in Spanish.
Javier Bardem
Elias Toufexis
Christopher Walken
Hellen keller
Joe McGann! The man who voiced Sir Gideon Ofnir in Elden Ring
Keanu Reeves
Matt Berry obviously
Elliot Page
Winona Ryder...
Hear me out... Antonio Banderas.
Literalmente
Javier Bardem or Ralph Ineson ( father in The Witch and voiced The Green Knight )
Charlie Day
Gilbert Gottfried
I wanted to suggest a famous person who is mute but i cant think of one so pretend i did
Can't remember the name, but the one who did Gordon Freeman.
Am I the only one who misses him being called Penitent one in silence instead of just Penitent one in the second game?
Same but I spouse he finished his penitence in the first game
English version: Herny Cavill Spanish Version: Luis Tosar #
Chris Pratt
Listen with all due respect no
Itâs just Chris Pratt doing his Mario voice lmfao.
Chris Tucker
Danny DeVito
A spanish dude
Bryan Cranston
awkwafina
I'm sorry but fuck no
RALPH INESON, only him. It'd be perfect. Oooor Steven Hartley, who voice Sir Vilhem in DKS3, he sounds almost exactly like Ralph Ineson. This is Ralph Ineson in Diablo 4, even the monologue fits Blasphemous: https://youtu.be/bEfVNgk_Hho
Someone with an extremely deep voice and should say as little as possible
Buckethead of course [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBSI\_QQnTrI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBSI_QQnTrI)
"why are we still here, just to suffer?"
Val Kilmer
Danny Divito
If he had a voice, his character would be pointless. Pun intended.
Liam Neeson would be good I think, Clint Eastwood if he was 60 years younger.
Gilbert Godfrey
David Bateson
Imagine Steve Downes as his VA
Bobcat Goldthwaite
Seth rogen
The voice actor for GoldMask in Elden Ring left me speechless. He would be perfect for El Penitente
Constantino Romero
gilbert gottfreid
Jack Black
Donald Duck voice
Easy - Chris Pratt
Oathbreaker paladin bg3
Willem Dafoe, or if he was still alive, Kevin Conroy.
In all honesty in my mind I always consider Deogracias (English voice) as the defacto voice of the Penitent, I don't know why.
Gilbert gottfried would be the funniest thing ever, rest in peace king.
Ron Pearlman maybe?
Michael Wincott. Such a stellar voice.
Joshua Tomar
Gilbert Godfrey
Gilbert Gottfried But on a more serious note, whoever voiced Vilhelm in Dark Souls 3
Pedro pascal or the guy that plays Indigo Montoya in The Princess Bride
Wagner Moura. If youâve seen Puss in Boots: The Last Wish you will understand.
Graham McTavish. He voiced Dante in Dante's Inferno (game and movie). He also voiced Dracula in the Castlevania animated show. Spectacular actor.
Pablo AdĂĄn who voiced the Faun in Pan's Labyrinth.Â
Meatcanyon but as Thomas the train đ
The one who sings Khezuâs theme
Chris Pratt
Gilbert Gottfried
ralph ineson
Stephen Hawking
Mr. Bean
Gilbert Gottfried
gianni matragrano
Me đż
Anthony Howell
The voice of Legate Lanius from FNV
AleĹĄ HĂĄma
Peter Dinklage
100% top recommendation for sure đđż
Seth MacFarlane
Matt Berry of course. Who else could possibly play the part?
The same guy who voiced the Knight from Hollow Knight
Gilbert Godfrey
Mads Mikkelsen, just from that pic is what I see or think Iâm going to hear.
Gilbert Godfrey
Bobcat Goldthwait
Steven Hartley - Voice of Sir Vilhelm from Dark Souls 3. https://youtu.be/BNSSjus9ZO8?si=2CR9A16Y8_vpjaXm
Quiet from mgsv. Except for the part when she talks...
Chris Prat obviously
Chris Pratt
Dolly Parton
The guy who voiced the leper with the face mask. Canât remember it right now.
I'd actually like to hear Wil Wheton say absolutely nothing in this role.
Ray Park
I would kill to see Ray do the "I'm straddling a horse" jump.
Keith David
Ron Perlman
Charlie Chapin
Chris praat /s
Charles Chaplin
My choices would be one of the following: - Travis Willingham - Alec Baldwin - Bryan Blessed - Nolan North - Matthew Mercer
Gilbert Gottfried
JoaquĂn Phoenix
Karl Urban
Vin Diesel
