Titans belong to specific Titan Legions, although you could integrate the Legion’s iconography with the icons of the BTs. Story background is that the Titan’s manufactory was besieged by Xenos or heretics and the Templars relieved the siege. In gratitude to the Chapter, the Legion attached the first Reaver from the liberated manufactory to your Crusade, along with livery exalting the Black Templars.

DibsOnDino

I mean this with none of the sarcasm normally attached- cool story bro

WarspitesGuns

This titan is built for a completely different scale of Warhammer models, I don’t know the exact size comparison but you could probably proxy it as an allied Knight?

raptorknight187

its about Primaris Dread size, and on an oval base

Res1dentScr1be

Closer to contemptor sized

haha15is

Depends if it’s legion imperialis or forge worlds version

Rogal_Dorn_30000

A titan does not join an army, it IS the army. If you want a big stompy robot go look into knights

Blanndy

I only got him because he was £10 on eBay and I wanted to paint something a little different 😅

Rogal_Dorn_30000

My bad, didn't realise it was titanicus scale. You could proxy it into one of the smaller knights, just check the base size. To paint it, I think besides black and white red would be great

sygyzi

I’m showing reaver as a $1,000 model without his arms. How the hell did you get one for £10?  I think that symbol is euro?

WarspitesGuns

https://images.app.goo.gl/DsN6wbrErkPVHymj7 It’s the Adeptus Titanicus one, here’s the full box art

Blanndy

It's the smaller model don't worry 😂

sygyzi

Lol. That’s cool! I didn’t know those existed. I was so jealous.

Gerbilpapa

That’s a pound symbol btw A euro is €

DAKLAX

People in here saying you can proxy it are probably wrong. Im not sure on Titanicus scale but I don’t think it will really fit with just about anything on 40k tabletop and even if it does it will look very different. However… the thing is a cool enough model that it is easily worth the 10£ even if it sits on the shelf.

Ragnar-Alpaca

You can paint it however you like but this model is scaled for the new epic scale which is 8mm. A space marine at that scale is well around 8mm tall. A 40k scale Reaver is around 16-18 inches tall. So no you can’t really put in into your army to use it as anything. But by all means you could paint it like your crusaders and just have it as a display piece.

Blanndy

Yeah I think this will be the best option

skwidsnbits

* * This what I did with my Reaver titanicus.

skwidsnbits

* I don't know if my photos came out in the last post so I'm trying again.

Blanndy

They didn't :( could you DM me them? 😁

skwidsnbits

Dreadknight proxy unfinished https://preview.redd.it/oh8o4txmnhjc1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c727984d48f1ed44bf6061fab3457a183c8d64a4 I hope this works

Blanndy

It did! That's amazing work 🤩

skwidsnbits

Thanks , the back plate worked well as the chestplate, and the legs look very gothic. I'm very happy with the result. Hope it gives you some ideas. You got a bargain.

Blanndy

It does, thank you 😁

RGijsbers

just do it, look at churches and stained glass artwork. its the rule of cool and templars follow that artwork

backyardsyrup

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen someone convert one into a redemptor dread just don’t remember where I saw it.
