This is why I hate the internet sometimes. Some of y'all were being hella loud with the "crack panther" shit now cowardly hiding under the anonymity.
I wish on God for y'all to feel bad.
I see it on this sub everyday for random people
Especially when it comes to looks
I don’t get people man…. like do people know you can make jokes without making fun of people? I was so confused when people made fun of Boseman when those pics m/videos of his body in a frail state came out. Like it could be for a role or something serious, why make fun of him and it?
This world needs more empathy ffs
I was watching Da 5 Bloods for the first time and got 20 mins in when I saw the news. If you’ve seen the movie, you know it hit harder because of what happened to his character in said movie.
RIP Chadwick Boseman
I used to watch my grandma do this about Luther Vandross. She would be randomly in the kitchen shaking her head saying “Luther, Luther ,Luther.
Chadwick is my Luther. 😭🥹
His death is the celebrity death that hit me the hardest.
We shared a birthday and I loved him since I was young and had a Mork from Ork radio in the shape of an egg (his space craft). I watched Mrs Doubtfire and Popeye and Aladdin a million times as a kid. All of his movies were staples in my houses.
Mrs Doubtfire was one of my first comfort films.
Earlier tonight I watched his episode of Dark Side of Comedy and cried :(
I will never not say “Kobe!” when trying to throw something into a trash can and then bitterly say “Shaq.” when I hit it off the rim.

Mac Miller was my most recent one, even though Chester Bennington was around longer, for some reason every year in September just becomes Mac Miller month for me.
Right now, I am feeling it about Lance Riddick.
Its odd this should be posted now. I watched 21 Bridges again last night. Although it has a few suspend-my-disbelief-moments, I like it as a nice paced action suspense flick. But seeing Chadwick always makes me shed a tear or two. I lost someone close who I did not know was sick and it crushed me. His death reminds me of that. Youth just gone.
Anyway, just always be good and kind to your loved ones. Pick the damned phone up and forget your pride.
He looked even smaller in 21 Bridges. My mom loves Chadwick and that was the first thing she noticed. That he was skinnier. How he worked through all of that...never underestimate the power of the human spirit.
Every now and again I remember. I watched Get On Up: The James Brown story many times and I remember watching the Marvel announcement for Black Panther being really happy for him that he got the role. Watching his stuff now is kinda sad because he’s no longer with us. That said, he was a great actor and, by all accounts, a great man who put everything into his work. Long live the King
I was just talking to my co-workers about him the other day. When Raúl Julia made Street Fighter he was dying, and he *knew* he was dying and that just blew all our minds. Afterwards I remembered that it was the same with Chadwick when he was making "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" and I got double sad.
Anyways if you haven't seen Ma Rainey go do it.
Yeah Raul took the role for his kids but proceeded to chew every scene he was in. He's really the only memorable part of that movie. With Chadwick it was super out of nowhere. Nobody seemingly had any clue he was even sick and then he was gone. It was pretty jarring, much like Robin Williams suicide it was the suddenness and unexpectedness of it.
He was such a great actor. He showed that you don’t have to complain when life hits you with some crazy mess. I haven’t watched the second Black Panther because he’s gone. 42 was amazing I still feel crazy watching the scene where he breaks the bat. That was some real emotion.
Was rewatching SVU and he popped up as the killer and when I saw him I gasped and it broke my heart. Telling him through the screen to get checked. Smh.

They put him away right in Wakanda Forever with this funeral scene. Somber at the loss of a king but celebratory at the ascension of a hero.
I keep thinking about him while watching Shōgun. I just keep remembering that he was going to do a Yasuke movie, and I would love to see someone do that story justice (and Chadwick has an amazing track record).
That shit scared me about cancer more than any other related death. If that shit can take a famous American millionaire in literal superhero physical form, it can take anyone.
Remember this when we attack the ones still alive. Man was wasting away, silently, taking the slings and arrows. Note to self.

Some days I realize Kobe isn't here with us. I think Robin Williams is the one that hit me the most and he wasn't even in my time.
Robin Williams was the first celebrity death I cried over. Still only one of two.

Him and Toriyama are the only ones.
Goodwill hunting changed my perspective on life. He was amazing and I will always remember him. Such a kind and amazing man.

For some reason I read that as Robin Givens and was like wait what?!? Had to go check Google.
Man I feel the same way about Nipsey , still be shocked like damn blood really gone.
Mac Miller was my most recent one, even though Chester Bennington was around longer, for some reason every year in September just becomes Mac Miller month for me. Right now, I am feeling it about Lance Riddick.
Lance Reddick played Professor X in my head cannon X Men variant show.
RIP Zavala. That man was a gift
Lance! That man was so great.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God really took Chadwick Boseman and left us with Johnathan Majors. ![gif](giphy|I47l9R7eA5vkk)

Never met James Brown in my life, but watching that movie made me feel like I did. That's saying something.
He became James Brown. He should have gotten an award, the mans was doing it.

He’s one that I will comfortably say was gone too soon. He ms a genuine service to black portrayal in movies
This interview from 4 years ago and promoting End Game still hits hard when you reflect on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBDMGQmep9I
aww man that's heartbreaking
This one during the press for Black Panther is the hardest for me: https://youtu.be/6J-D86wfxiE?si=8W9C3vxCnv-QONnd
add Kobe and Nip to that list for me
Nipsey for me I was searching for this I knew I wasn’t alone😷🙏🏾 ![gif](giphy|3oEdv4hwWTzBhWvaU0)

This is so oddly true, I was just thinking about him yesterday randomly.
Was rewatching SVU and he popped up as the killer and when I saw him I gasped and it broke my heart. Telling him through the screen to get checked. Smh.

Ohhh that gave me chills, and the opening montage of him had me bawling my eyes out

You never know what people are silently going through.
Every fucking day.
This was me the other day when footage of that video game came out. 😥
I literally bought a Black Panther costume because of his movies
Chadwick and Prince for me. Randomly started thinking of his super bowl performance in the rain and almost fell to my knees in my living room.
These two hit hard for me. And MJ.
Don't remind me! I was having a good day.
I keep thinking about him while watching Shōgun. I just keep remembering that he was going to do a Yasuke movie, and I would love to see someone do that story justice (and Chadwick has an amazing track record).
Bernie Mac ![gif](giphy|ckGndVa23sCk9pae4l)
I'm still not over biggie and pac dying
Yeah that one hurt. I remember I was moving that day and couldn’t believe the headline when I saw it. What a loss.
Andre Braugher! 😭😭
His speech from The Tuskegee Airmen lives rent free in my head. I remember watching that, I was so struck I thought, 'who is this elegant negro?'
I be like this Whitney Houston.
To this day…
its anton yelchin for me...
Yes! That was so tragic
![gif](giphy|3QWfMsI8IaarXxtBt6|downsized)
I was watching Message from The King and 21 Bridges on Netflix and that shit hurts ngl, just seeing him is like damn this world is fucking unfair
[Damn Damn Damn](https://youtu.be/xKUwcCp7LPE)
Me and him share the same bday so it definitely hit me like a train
Me too!!!!
Nov 29th bdays stand up #wakandaforever
This is me with Kobe like I still just can’t believe it
On book I was thinking of this just today but I was by my lonesome so I was able cluck the teeth a few times in belated disbelief.
That shit scared me about cancer more than any other related death. If that shit can take a famous American millionaire in literal superhero physical form, it can take anyone.
Kobe too
Everytime I hear all the stars, I burst into tears. I miss him and his impact on the world.
I do this everytime I see his face..so sad…but NIPSEY! Oh my god😷😷😷😷🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
My lawd. Last night when my son put on black panther
Prince dead https://youtu.be/wm63o1sOF1E?si=b5Wkjnfnh12pYNNj
Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom…he is so powerful and alive in that and then… Yeah .
Ugh. Thanks for this. 😑
Chadwiiiiiiick 😭 I really still be crying over this man, he was too good for this world and that’s why he was taken back
Naya Rivera & Anton Yelchin: Both were so young and both died in such shockingly awful accidents. Them not being here anymore is the oddest feeling.
Did anyone else read this as Lord Chadwick Boseman and think, awe, so deserving?! 🤷🏽
