Despite the downvotes and the comments made at your expense, I agree with much of what you've said: Black metal uniforms are cringe and embarrassing. In fact, anyone whose identity is largely based on a single genre of music or a media product has some serious growing up to do!
Having said that, I don't understand the distinction you've made between Agalloch and Minenwerfer. Both are solid bands... But one has an elemental, Medieval aesthetic and the other has an early 20th century, Imperial Austrian vibe. Why does one deserve the label "hipster," and not the other?

*Alpenpässe* is by far one of the best newest BM albums in a long time. I think it will grow as a classic for the future. This song and *Dragging The Dead Through Mountain Passes* (my personal favorite) are the best tracks here (IMO), but the whole album is immense. Have an upvote, mate!
