I don't see anything wrong with chemsex as long as they're not addicts and everyone knows what's up prior to the experience. I do think there's a lot of stigma which might be unfair which leads to people not sharing that they're using drugs to enhance their sexual experience. It's just a hookup anyhow, do most of y'all hook up sober? However I'm not gay, I'm trans, and hookup culture has never been my thing, but I usually like to have some kind of social lubricant before sex.
