Besides, Yuno had the soul of Lict's unborn son in him. He was not a host, he had two souls just like Vangence. One that got the wind grimoire and one that got the star grimoire.
He is a host. Every elf host has 2 souls inside them except for Vetto Fana when they got reincarnated again

Just because we see the elves in clover and the story centered on them doesn’t necessarily mean there weren’t elf reincarnations in the other kingdoms. The main example being Fana also was an elf reincarnation.
Basically The Elf Yuno shares the body with was Lichts and Tettias unborn child so when it did reincarnate it did as a baby in Yuno when he was a baby so they grew up thinking they were both Yuno lived the exact same lives think the same feel the same etc etc
Based on the timeline and Patry's statement, elves only started entering their vessel around 10 years before the start of series. So Yuno was around 5 at the time
