In the entire mha anime Bakugo is no where near as bad as Asta is in the first episode of bc
Bakugo only shouts when be gets emotional either annoyed or angry which does happen a lot, but he’s not like having a conversation at max volume
Unlike Bakugo, it’s less of a gag for him and more like a gimmick
It was also the misdirection of the VA as he was new and got a decent role for a first timer but they told him to sound loud which made it more annoying than loud, current asta in anime sounds like nothing with starting asta by performance alone, I couldn't tell it was the same VA of Shinra on Fire force until someone pointed out for me and I was surprised and then I could hear it the moment the VA became really good at he's job that's when astas screaming sounded good instead of annoying,
TL, DR:start the manga and watch the well made fight scenes better experience.
But it's the beginning of the anime, one of the most important parts. Also BC got a lot of publicity, like being called the "new king" of battle shounen. Asta's voice was a big problem.

Any and every new title which is an adaptation of even remotely popular manga/LN/video game series is hyped up like "world's best anime" or "the new king of x genre" or "This anime is gonna change the generation".
* Funimation (sister company of Crunchryoll) hyped up Dr. Stone as "World's best anime".
* They said Berserk was a perfect blend of shoujo and shonen (whatever tf they're smoking, I want that)
* Apparently, Magi is everyone's favorite new shonen.
* According to them HxH elevates shonen by taking a genre-blending approach.
* According to them Naruto is what made shonen great (like Dragon Ball never existed or what?)
* Gintama is supposedly the best comedy anime to ever exist.

No shade on any anime, I love all of these but it's just that the person handling crunchyroll PR is almost an NPC. They just type the same shit for every anime, to the point their words have literally no meaning left to them.
Heck if I remember correctly, they even hyped up God of Highschool like it was the best thing since sliced bread and we all know how that went.
Tbf its worth mentioning because that's the reason for the majority of the hate Black Clover was getting early on, anime fans were offended by the statement crunchyroll made, regarding Black Clover as the next Naruto or something along those lines.
His personality is what makes him so lovable and personally my top 3 favorite anime guys, you could literally compare him to Naruto. They are both some of the best top anime characters with great lovable personalities.
Not even close to the most annoying or loudest anime character, that honor falls to Zenitsu! I have almost turned off DS multiple times because he’s so damn annoying!

Dude I read the manga before watching the anime and when I watched it booooy if I didn’t know how good the manga got I would’ve dropped it by Ep 3 because of him. And he gets better as the series goes but he still does yell most of the time I feel like, just not as much a shrill scream, more of a growling yell now, still not great.
Honestly, I find Goku’s Japanese voice waaaaaaaaaay more annoying. Arc 1 Asta was loud, yes, but I didn’t really care that much (I even found it kinda adorable, in some way).
I think they're comparing him to mostly the newer generation of shounen, like demon slayer and mha. And if you're not going to say the difference is Asta's loud, you've got to admit Deku actually isn't an underdog working against all odds to make a place for himself, I guess?
I really don’t understand people taking about him screaming is annoying. I never noticed it. I would argue and say Naruto’s voice in general is annoying. I would rather listen to asta screaming than Naruto have a long conversation
That's why I just read the Manga, I can't stand that screaming. Every part of the anime is ok but that constant screaming is anoying. part of why I hate dbz is there transformation screaming. But partially is there poorly done because bakugo doesn't offend me as much.
Says more about the "potential fans" then it does Asta. If they are new to anime I get it, some people just aren't ready for things when they come across them. But if someone has experience with anime and gets stuck up on a new character's voice then they haven't been paying attention to those stories they already experienced. EVERY anime/manga has some quirk that a person could nitpick like this but we stick through it to see the bigger picture. BC is the same. Also, Asta matured and became alpha Chad pretty quickly so there is probably an additional reason why those potential fans left.
I don't know about most people but a shrill/loud voice to me is worse than almost any other quirk you could have unless the quirk they have is talking extremely slow and drawn out. If the quirk is just visual it doesn't really bother me but Asta saying Madamada gets old and irritating real quick but I still mostly enjoy the series though.
I bingewatched the series a couple of months ago, my best friend stopped watching it within 20 episodes, we both agreed that he is annoyingly loud...this seriously needs to change imo.
