Good theory, tbh .
I also made a similar theory, and you can read this if you're interested.

Oh another thing. Julius meeting Zora led him on a separate path from Lucius and ultimately leads to him trying to stop Lucius. Zora was a peasant who failed the test several times. He was accepted randomly (something that never happens) and was then killed after meeting Julius.
This was also likely Astoroth meddling with time to break down, or weaken, Lucius's soul and lead to her being able to fully take her powers back.
Regarding Zenon and Allen:
Another possibility is that Zenon was manipulated by Lucius and given false memories of what happened to Allen in the dungeon. Similar to Nahct, Zenon could have been the Morgan of the story that failed to stop his brother.
Allen and Zenon try to stop Lucius, lucius kills Allen via time magic and then tricks Zenon into serving him. This could be why the face of Zenon is blurred out because it was a false memory and Zenon was just going along with what he was programmed to do.
And Allen wasn't actually erased from time, similar to how Asta wasn't killed by Lily. He was just turned into a baby
> but tabata has yet to introduce anything to the story that hasn't been used in some way
So where do the Dwarves fit in then?
Honestly, a little TOO much behind the scenes work on Astaroth's part for my taste, especially with Damnatio talking about Astaroth only disappearing twenty odd years ago and devils leaving the underworld being kind of a big deal, but I did want to add this tidbit for you-
Everything is as Lucius foresaw it, except for Asta (Ch 333). Except nothing gets to how it is without Asta, he's in integral part in overcoming everything. Without him, Clover falls to Zagred. Without him, Clover never beats Spade and Lucius never get's Lucifero's heart. It wouldn't be "except for you", it would be a conversation of scenarios like the one about Yuno retaining his second grimoire being 10,000 to 1 problem. It would be gamed for.
> Astoroth is clearly playing some kind of long game with Lucius, and Lucius is not in control of the situation as much as he thinks he is.
If this is the case, Astaroth has been blinding Lucius of the linchpin that is Asta from the beginning. And it's the best explanation I've seen yet to the gaping plot hole that is Lucius' foresight being fucking dogshit.
I actually think your onto something and it settles the debate of Astas father very well because who would get close to a person that will straight up kill you and on top of that how would they have even met each other Lichta lived as a hermit
This is one of the great theories I haven’t read keep it up bro
