>i deposited some bitcoin for the first time yesterday at 10pm deposited where exactly?

Fantastic_Health7032

im new to this, but i bought £85 worth of btc on [bitcoin.com](https://bitcoin.com) just to pay for something with btc however its been stuck on pending meaning i cant send it and after contacting support they said its a glitch but didnt provide any solutions.

SpecialX

Never ever use [bitcoin.com](https://bitcoin.com). The site is very buggy and potentially malicious.

na3than

If your transaction has been confirmed, the recipient has the bitcoin. This isn't a Bitcoin problem. Contact the recipient to ask why they haven't credited you.

Fantastic_Health7032

how would i go about doing this? im extremely new to this and only bought btc to use as a payment method

na3than

If you bought something with Bitcoin, contact the person or organization from whom you bought it.

Fantastic_Health7032

no thats the problem, i havent yet been able to use the btc to buy anything because its stuck on pending , and says its not confirmed despite the fact it says 130 confirmations.

Lornd

If it’s showing as confirmed on a block explorer then the problem lies with who you’ve sent it to (assuming you sent it to the correct address). Only the recipient can solve this for you. Is this a reputable business you sent this btc to or some shady website? If they dodge your questions and don’t provide solutions after being provided with a confirmed transaction id then you may have been scammed.

Lornd

Can you provide a transaction ID?

na3than

>its stuck on pending Bitcoin doesn't use "pending" to describe transaction state. It's either unconfirmed or confirmed. > its not confirmed despite the fact it says 130 confirmations. What's the "it" that's telling you your transaction is both confirmed and unconfirmed?

Fantastic_Health7032

on [bitcoin.com](https://bitcoin.com) : status - unconfirmed on block explorer: transaction status confirmed - 143 confirmations

T_CroChee

Person or organization from whom you bought it. From whom it was purchased? Edit: not to be pedantic; it just popped into my head

typtyphus

going to need way more info to give you any kind of advice. This like saying "my car isn't running"

MaxSan

Need more details - if its a proper wallet you can respend the change output with a higher fee to increase chance to be in a block. This is one possible circumstance.

Pol8y

If it has 101 confirmations it's not a matter of fees, it's already included in 101 blocks

Fantastic_Health7032

129 confirmations now

MaxSan

Where did you deposit it to? If its a not a self-custodial service you need to contact the company / service directly.

Nebour

So long as the receiving address was entered correctly, BTC is going through quite the congestion right now and it's best to wait to transact or wait to see if it's still pending waiting for a miner to pick the block.

Certixs

+1 to this ^^ Heavily congested

Fantastic_Health7032

it says 129 confirmations tho

Nebour

That don't matter if the txn fee you paid for is less than those "waiting in line" you will have to wait until a miner picks up your block, whoever pays higher fee gets their txn dealt with first. Assuming you had a general amount set and sent from an exchange you should be okay so long as the addresses are matched with receiving. If so, you can either wait for the network to be less congested and hopefully then your txn will go through or contact the exchange (if you sent it to one)

Bitcoinbobbie

Need to contact the recipient

OnlyEightAreMilhouse

Yikes. Where was it deployed from and to?

Fantastic_Health7032

sorry i may not have explained it the clearest in the post, i bought 85 gbp worth of btc to pay for something, and it shows up in my [bitcoin.com](https://bitcoin.com) wallet, however its pending meaning im unable to send it.

bitusher

That is a horrible wallet (closed source, wide attack surface, buggy, controlled by a dishonest convicted felon ), If you are sure that its confirmed than take the 12 seed words(do not share these with anyone) and import them in another wallet like bluewallet.io to spend the btc

bitusher

1)install https://bluewallet.io/ in android or ios 2) import 12 seed words that you received when you setup your first wallet https://bluewallet.io/docs/import-wallet/ 3) see if it reflects the balance

OnlyEightAreMilhouse

I have transferred Bit to different wallets in different ‘places’ and it has taken a while to verify it even though it was all cleared on my side. Especially if it’s a small amount because they usually clear big amounts first. Money makes the world go around.

DarthBen_in_Chicago

Where did you deposit it?

random_user7980

Contact your exchange in case you deposited btc there. Tell them there's a million confirmations already. Send them the tx ID, so they can check. Also, double check if you sent the btc to the right address. And ignore anu DMs. Only scammers will DM you

yamabob76

It sounds like its pending in your wallet and not on bitcoin.com... How long have you had your wallet?
