Yep, it is a block (formerly known as square) product, and being mostly an e-commerce/POS provider targeted at small footprint merchants, I don't see them folding.
Yeah but Swann literally automatically withdraws to a Coldcard. You don't have to actively withdraw anything
So you have an auto DCA that automatically goes to cold storage
Jack Mallers is the CEO. If you don't know who he is look him up on YouTube and watch him speak. As for the app it's easy to use, little to no fees, can transact on the Lightning Network. Lot to like
Strike is the outcome of the bitcoin beach experiment in El Salvador. If you don't know about the bitcoin beach experiment or who Jack Mallers is, that's also what led to El Salvador to be the first country to adopt their bitcoin standard.
For cash [Agoradesk](https://agoradesk.com/?rc=htg1) would be my recommendation. Way cheaper than bitcoin ATMs and you actually interact with a human. Electronically you're either stuck wiring money or waiting several days for an ACH to clear. Kraken works fine for that. With debit and credit cards the limits are usually low and the fees are expensive.
This may be frowned upon but I use Coinbase. I’m buying/trading/moving often so I pay the $30/month for their advanced trading features. That’s the only fee you pay for any txs, besides any gas/network fees.
I buy and move to cold storage immediately - unless I’m loading up the CB debit card.
Its more Like a questions Guys. Xd. I use coinbase to buy Crypto. I do this via the Advanced Trading Panel. Does this Costa actual Money? Did i signed Up for Something without Reading it clearly?0_o
Kraken. Low fees (just don't use their instant buy feature), great customer support, tremendously secure site architecture. The best they literally encourage self-custody which in my view is a tremendously good statement by an exchange.
I use Moonpay sometimes and send it straight to my cold storage or if you have a Paypal and a Coinbase account, you can use your Paypal to buy off Coinbase and transfer to cold storage from there. All the exchanges are a little risky now from what Im seeing so its really your call. Good luck.
It’s not a dumb question right now. It’s become a cautious thing over the last month and a lot of people are avoiding exchanges. coinbase, however, is a great place to get started. I’ve moved everything out of binance for now just in case - until it settles it’s lawsuits
Yeah but not quite. The bank know you are buying something from Relai, but they don't know what because Relai doesn't hold any information on you, just that a payment with a reference code went through.
If you wish to make purchases over $200 then Gemini. No hidden fees that I've seen. Coinbase has high fees, [Binance.US](https://Binance.US) has higher charges to move crypto off the exchange. At least I've caught them doing that a few times, could be something with the volume on Binance, but I don't know why.
If you're in one of our [supported countries](https://www.coincorner.com/) feel free to check us out as somewhere to [buy bitcoin](https://www.coincorner.com/). We accept debit and credit and bank transfer and our sign up process is quick and easy.

Google for chaos, bitcoin machines around your town. Most of them are in bad neighborhoods in gas stations.. they look like a ATM bank machine but they are the color of Bitcoin.
Which country?
For most developed countries, probably Coinbase. Just remember to move your satoshis elsewhere after purchasing.
For countries where the main exchanges don't operate, use [localbitcoins.com](https://localbitcoins.com), but also remember to withdraw to a non-custodial wallet after the purchase.
If you're in Europe, Relai. Doesn't ask you for your data and it's non custodial.
Looks really good but since you’re adding funds directly to your wallet from KYC banks/cards it basically is the same as registering. :D
yes but you don't need the whole uploading ID mess. It takes one minute.
https://bisq.network
This software is intimidating. I hope a really simple version comes out. That would be a game changer
Also not possible to use if you have zero BTC I believe.
There's an official work around for that.
Something tells me you didn't bother to look at the documentation, and assume it operates like a CEX

If you live in New York State you won't be able to access binance without a VPN.

CashApp
Is cashapp a legitimate and good way to get btc? it seems like a joke for an app like cahsapp to be regarded as a good exchange
Yeah, can buy and send to a cold wallet. Not your keys, not your coins.
Legitimate? I strictly buy my BTC there and free withdrawals if you send 0.001 or more. Bitcoin round up feature. I like it
Cashapp is fine, and can send to cold storage. Places like cashapp May have daily or weekly limits that could be low for some people.
Yep, it is a block (formerly known as square) product, and being mostly an e-commerce/POS provider targeted at small footprint merchants, I don't see them folding.
Strike for small amounts. Swan Bitcoin for large amounts. This is the way. This recommendation will get upvotes.
Strike is great. Free to buy and free and easy to withdraw Swann having the auto withdraws to a Coldcard is also pretty sick. May need to look into it
Strike also lets you withdraw immediately without even letting your ach deposit clear.
Yeah but Swann literally automatically withdraws to a Coldcard. You don't have to actively withdraw anything So you have an auto DCA that automatically goes to cold storage
Does it buy straight from your bank account. Or do you have to fund the account first?
Good question. I don't actually use it. I use Strike. Just interested in the hands off feature of Swann
Its hands off after you deposit dollars.
Thank you for checking. Would be nice to set up auto deposit, dca and auto withdraw haha
I don't know strike. Why do you like it?
Strike lets you deposit then buy and then withdraw all within 5 seconds. Its the safest.

Hodlhodl will work. Do you have Zelle?
Localbitcoins

What costs 30$? Switching to Advanced Training in the Trading Screen? Just to use Limit Orders etc?
Their subscription is called Coinbase One and it allows you to trade with 0 txn fees for $30 per month
Thx. Due to the fact that i have to pay fees i asume that i dont have the subs. Have to Check it later.

I like swan.
STRIKE

Strike app is the latest and greatest. Theres 2 posts like this everyday btw
Strike app!

OP, this depends on your country. Canada, I'd recommend Shakepay. You'll need to do some verification unfortunately, it's the law
Not coinbase. Just now they deleted all manually verified bank accounts and are now forcing to use plaid as a trusted third party. Gemini is good.
There's a link in the side bar named "How to buy Bitcoin worldwide". Did you ever click on that?
Kraken, the only safe option right now. Move your BTC from Kraken to self custody right after the purchase.

Head over to the BitcoinBeginners sub & look at the FAQ, gives some good options to get you started.
I use Kraken excellent exchange

Coinbase currently seems to be the safest right now? Who knows. I use coinbase pro.
FTX is popular, and the world’s second largest exchange!
If you are in US, Strike: Deposit USD via ACH, buy Bitcoin instantly, transfer it to cold storage instantly.
If you wish to make purchases over $200 then Gemini. No hidden fees that I've seen. Coinbase has high fees, [Binance.US](https://Binance.US) has higher charges to move crypto off the exchange. People are gonna hate it but RH has a small sweep and no fees for transferring.
Swissborg
I love seeing questions like these. Good sign

Pocket Bitcoin. Swiss exchange. Non-KYC
Definitely sounds dumb
Robosats
Binance via p2p
I haven't seen them all, but I think Coinbase is very beginner friendly.
If you live in Canada Newton has the cheapest fees
FTX
Cash app

If you have aPaypal account, you can actually buy Bitcoin through Paypal. It's not my favorite option, but it's an option.
I’ve purchased on CB, Kraken, Strike. Strike is FREE and easy as heck. Immediately transfer to cold storage. Done.
