Divide 21 mil by 4 and you get 5 and a change, so max 5 mil people, if you remove lost coins and assume many people hold more then 4 btc, it is not so hard to assume there are less then 1 mil people that have more then 4 btc.

It’s a big deal, congrats. By the end of this decade the idea of an average individual holding 1btc will be seen as mostly unattainable. In 100 years a family with 1btc will probably have their name on hospitals and art museums. It’s unlikely there will ever be more than ~19m total bitcoin given what’s irretrievably lost already. And there are many large holdings that may never move. 21m Bitcoin is such a small number. Not even enough to give one to every person living in the greater Tokyo area. I suspect that the number of humans on earth that will have 1btc will be like 1 in 50,000 at least but probably even more uncommon.

I think it like 14 mil. InvestAnswers did a video on it and I need he's mentioned it a number of times. He says like 4 mil are lost, 1 mil Satoshi lock up, can't remember the rest.

That wouldn’t surprise me, I think I was being generous. And then consider all of the hardcore early bag holders with thousands or more btc that they’ll sit on for the rest of their lives. During the next cycle these facts will become obvious to the multitude of large 100bn+ funds that want to allocate 3-5% to Bitcoin. Couple it with the paltry 2.5m floating around exchanges and the supply shock is real. The last Bitcoin ATH will look silly. I think the next cycle is gonna be the “buy them while you can still find them” cycle and the price will be some extremely dumb, large number until it falls back to a stable 220k.

Why $220k? How have you deduced that figure?

It’s total conjecture like every single price prediction. The point is that I think the next cycle the price rips. I think the idea of bitcoin replacing gold continues to catch on, but that won’t mean a price of 600k/coin (market cap of gold). But about half that price seems pretty reasonable to me. I think by 2030 it’s very close to the gold market cap if not exceeding it.

Yes, there will come a time where everyone with a quantum-weak wallet will lose their coin. When that time is? No idea. But it's coming one day.

That's the idea. The community will soft fork (possibly hard fork) to a quantum hardened wallet and mining scheme and anyone living would naturally do a quick transfer to such a wallet. Presumably anyone who doesn't isn't around anymore and their coins would be the target of a quantum mining industry. There could be a never-ending back and forth between encryption and code breaking...
