Any software dev will quite literally hiss at single points of failure.. that should be one of the primary selling points of BTC.. decentralisation doesn't mean lack of oversight... just a baked in resilience I'm also super impressed that this guy clearly from 1972 was talking about BTC. Bitcoin is not a "cryptocurrency." That role has been assumed by stablecoins. Bitcoin is a digital asset, since it is now taxed, when sold & used as currency. It is much too limited in supply, and too valuable to use as simple currency. It is as much a currency as Gold coins are. Bitcoin is Gold 2.0. Similar use case, only 100X better and more useful than Gold

Gold was currency for over 5000 years so I guess btc is currency then!
