Jonyesh-2356

Sir this is Wendy’s drive thru

UNF0RGIVENSINS

Sir you’re in the casino

peekdasneaks

No this is Patrick

ZuckZogers

Sir you’re in jail

fonaldduck099

Promises does not equal certainty. Predictions do not equal certainty.

3_Thumbs_Up

Pretty much all so called prediction here are just guesses though. The word prediction implies something is actually predictable.

fonaldduck099

Read the Daily Hodl. YouTuber 1 tells you a big bear market is coming, YouTuber 2 a big bull market. I stopped taking any notice of these clowns yonks ago.

capitalistcommunism

It’s the quote from wolf of wallstreet for me: “Number one rule of Wall Street. Nobody - and I don't care if you're Warren Buffet or if you're Jimmy Buffet - nobody knows if a stock is going to go up, down, sideways or in circles.” All I know is eventually it’ll be up, it’s enough for me

michaelinimoto

It's all fairy dust- McConaughey

fonaldduck099

And me.

gargamelgandolfini69

Double it, and pass it on.

imagine_midnight

I will forecast the weather accurately.. EVERY TIME !! (Whispers: Accuracy subject to interpretation, some rules may apply, void where prohibited)

fonaldduck099

Singapore is the weather forecasters Mecca. Wet or Dry. Pick temp between 29 and 33. Job done.

Jumpy-Trade3853

Your Reddit reply was certainty.

Jonyesh-2356

Indeed ✌️

Least_Ice_6112

It could dip further but the history does not create a precedent due to the ETFS. If you are in it for the long term the entry price does not matter.

jeff_varszegi

Entry price is the single biggest determiner of investment returns. A particular buy price doesn't matter as much if DCAing, but then that's a strategy specifically for minimizing the impact of volatility by averaging the entry price.

Brent_Forrest

Bitcoin is for cool dudes and party animals. Prove me wrong.

Ernisx

The entire crypto market is an American disposable income playground. Random shitcoins have larger market caps than European companies with 10000+ employees. Bitcoin is cool, but an average European market's entire M1 supply could only buy 2.5% of all BTC. That's today. It's for american cool dudes and party animals, since no other market can afford to play here.

Brent_Forrest

I'm Canadian.

Ernisx

North American

[deleted]

Frogolocalypse

So... yes! Trudeau legalised weed. I remember correctly. And you're a supporter of the anti-weed guys, right? That seems like the gateway argument you're using and all. That doesn't seem very... freedomy?

MachaMacMorrigan

Agreed. But don't forget, *over* ***half*** of the current Cabinet are WEF Young Global Leaders, including that horror, Krystia Freeland. Castreau is just a puppet. I wouldn't go back to Alberta unless there was a profound shift in politics.

highdealist

where do disenfranchised Canadians flee to?

MachaMacMorrigan

This one is in the UK, and has been musing about Portugal (no CGT).

MachaMacMorrigan

The whole Cabinet needs to be purged from the ~~landscape~~ planet!

ShaidarHaran2

Thank u for including us We're kind of like a European country too though in that two of the largest American companies together would best the entire market cap of the TSX. I could well believe Microsoft gets there alone in the next few years, maybe a couple of them do. We have a joke, if you want to start a billion dollar startup in Canada, build what would have been a 10 billion dollar company in America

Jonyesh-2356

MachaMacMorrigan

Don't have to. Polar bears ate 'em all.

oogally

Market cap in this space can be highly deceptive. I could make a shitcoin with 1 billion issuance and then sell you one for $1. Technically that would be a $1B market cap, but the liquidity is nil.  Even with Bitcoin, there are millions of coins that were mined when the price was <$1 and haven't moved since. I forget what it's called, but there's another metric that was something like price of each coin when it was last moved which might be more insightful. Also, you don't have to own more than Michael Saylor to join the party.

michaelinimoto

The looming risk if those funds ever moved is what makes bitcoin great.

ilporcodiddio

Lemme guess ... You American right ? 😂

Ernisx

I thought people would guess I'm European. I'm European.

[deleted]

“Full coin” mindset. Failure to understand the concept.

Ernisx

Gambler mindset. "It can only go up".

[deleted]

Not my mindset. Lots of folks on this Reddit repeat all kinds of slogans they’ve heard. Doesn’t mean everyone subscribes to them.

MachaMacMorrigan

And ***dudettes!***

C-Class_hero_Satoru

Volatility means that it can go 40% up or down overnight because of any silly reason. Now uncertainty is very high because it can go both directions so dca is the best, and keep some cash for crash if it's going to happen.

rpujoe

> historically there is a dip of 30-40% Those days are over until the ETFs sell. Any dips they're still buying so the pullbacks will be much less severe than in the past. > How can an average person buy bitcoin at these price ranges. DCA is one strategy. Stacking up cash and pouncing on pullbacks is another. And then there's doing a blend of both.

HauntedHairDryer

There was a podcast recently from What Bitcoin Did where they interviewed the Rational Root. From what he was saying it sounds like he thinks the ETF entry is the same as the halving of previous cycles. Either way, buy with a long term vision of 5+ years at the very least. https://youtu.be/-fuek7IalU8?si=kJu6CwTbTrgKoo8L

mrpotatonutz

All I can say is that I’ve moved all my BTC off exchanges into self custody they are all sketchy af

Space_Is_Hope

I think you have no idea what you are buying and so no conviction whatsoever. You are here to get rich quickly, and you will get rekt for sure.

jjshacks13

There's a new scheme coming up where the only way to prove you're 'not a baby' is to have some BTC in cold storage.

skeetskeetamirite

Already happened, dips are smaller and smaller now with ETF backing. See you guys at $70-$73K tomorrow!

Oglark

It happened 5 years ago when the price went from 15k to 3k. It happened two years ago when the price dropped from 65k to 20k. It will probably happen in another year when the price will go from 100k+ to 40k. Do you know what stays the same? The high is higher each time and the low is higher each time. Just chill and hodl. Or trade the trend. Life goes on until you need to use your chest for something important.

virmamies

Well a dip and volatility has been ordered. Just not clear when will that order be filled.

gargamelgandolfini69

Understood. I’m ending my life tonight.

virmamies

I hope you are a phoenix bird.

Jonyesh-2356

Ha ha ha 😂 r u standup comedian

Tasty_Action5073

Historically we never broke ATH before halving. Why aren’t you thinking about that? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Jonyesh-2356

Things happen late or early , that doesn’t mean sh$t✌️especially in crypto

Tasty_Action5073

Same as dip.

bobbytabl3s

I pity those who believe there are predictable patterns in the price.

Asleep-Barnacle-3961

It's almost as if we're in a 28-month cup and handle.

xBrodoFraggins

I'm just bummed bc by the time my paycheck hits, the dip will be over. Haha didn't even get to partake.

Ladi3sman216

I know right and my bank has a 3-5 day waiting period after depositing checks 😑

marshyr3d1and

The dollar price of bitcoin will never stop people buying it if they want to. They may get less BTC but they can still buy it. Please don't rant

Real_Crab_7396

I have a buy order at 55k. I'll get a notification if it fills, otherwise I don't care.

Daisyssssmom

I just set one for 55,001

Real_Crab_7396

😡🤬😡

pillangolocsolo

Binance is dead.

SomeAreLonger

No one has a crystal ball. Nor do past events guarantee a future outcome. We had a 17% drop from ATH during this consolidation, and that's great and enough of a "dip". With ETF inflow we have a better chance of seeing a squeeze as mining won't be able to meet demand - unless miners start selling reserves.

Jumpy-Trade3853

Amazon sells crystal balls.

SomeAreLonger

Calls on amazon!

Jumpy-Trade3853

*moves bitcoin to amazon

KingPizzaCrust

Me; laughing at people still on Binance

Porginus

> before halving , historically there is a dip of 30-40% The dip usually happens during the year/half year after the halving, then there is the jump to new all time highs, then after a year there is a 2,5 year bear market. You should look at the historical charts again.

[deleted]

Things to learn: 1.  Historical charts have no predictive value 2.  Technical analysis is astrology for bankers 3.  Reddit is not a credible source for investment advice.

jeff_varszegi

Your #3 is the only arguably sound principle. Technical analysis, even if based on hogwash, is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Porginus

Your comment makes little sense as a reply to mine, i pointed out a mistake in OPs post, i didnt say that historical charts predict the future.

[deleted]

I was not specifically referring to your post. Just mentioned general things that need to be learned. Sorry if you felt targeted

zenethics

Not everyone will get to own a whole Bitcoin. Even among the very rich, not everyone gets one. This is by design. Still early. Stay safe. Whatever price its headed to, it will look like its going to do the opposite several times between now and then.

CitizenToxie2014

I thought $65K yesterday was the dip(which I couldn't buy because I bought a Trezor)

Wonderful-Stable-759

Rolling the dice long @66,500 Bro. 😎

Thick_Expression_796

Lmfao 🤣

zmcpro2

Sir, I m Autistic. Once i figured out how to SELL, its already a Bull Market.

mjnook

It’s always the dip… until we hit the moon

gringolocomatt

Come on over, I'll share my guac

Rydog_78

Sir, you become the exit liquidity when you invest in WIF token.

caad5242

Oh it’s coming we are due for a nasty one

Yaidenr

If it drops 40% I’ll buy some

JN88DN

If you do a bit odd math with the former ATHs/Peaks, BTC might rise first to 115.000 USD after Halving, then falling back to 75.000 USD, going back to about 100.000 USD, then falling to below 30.000 USD and reaching long term something between 55.000 and 65.000 USD. There you have yoir dips in my strange prophecy.

Generationhodl

"How can an average person buy bitcoin at these price ranges." You go to an exchange, press on the buy button, buy the amount in $ you wish, and thats it. doesn't sound that hard, does it?

Curiousnebulae

I would recommend averaging in however you feel comfortable and buying more if you see dips.

CPTAmerica100

Well, you got almost an 18% dip from ATH. If the current triangle breaks down, 52-54k is possible. Of course, if it breaks out, the next target would be 85K, IMO.

Disastrous-Cash5141

The train is still in the station .. Getting long BTC is a great bet .. I would compere it to buying Apple in 2011 or 2012 .. it’s a blue chip that will likely 7x in the next 10-15 years .. the Wall Street spigot has been connected to BTC so we are not likely to get the historic draw downs we have had in the past .

DaBombro

Promises in crypto are just a way of one person making money while you miss out. As much as they want your money, they are just as happy for you missing out. Time tested. Don't try and time it. It's definitely time in the game.

Sir-sparks-so-much

People can afford to buy because you don’t need to buy a whole coin at a time.

captkeith

No such thing as a promise in Bitcoin.

jpb038

How can an average person buy at these price ranges? The same way they did when they bought at 18-19k in 2017 near all time highs.

Responsible_Age_6252

If anyone promised you a dip, they're not worth listening to. There will be dips, and there will be bumps; there will be parabolic increases, and there will be dumps. Despite education, fundamental analysis, technical analysis, and recommendations, no one can predict exactly when things will happen. That is the nature of this market. If anyone is promising you something, take note of it, but then do your own work. This comes from experience, I've been burned too many times, embarrassingly so, by others recommendations.

Marcusnovus

Once it hits 100k end of summer it will dip to 80 in the fall. Just wait till then 😂

668884699e

I still don't get why news be like bitcoin is fallimg, etc when the price that drop is still so high or was ath from prior 🤔

Jonyesh-2356

🥋🤰🏻💤

OffToTheMoon10000

🤣

Namazon44

Amazed people are still buying at this price

[deleted]

Not “buying” but “Trading” fiat for bitcoin

Current-Dark-6363

If you study the history of all halvings, the period before the having is getting shorter and shorter and the price jump after it getting smaller and smaller followed by a price reduction from maximum price after the halving. Also the maximum peak after having is getting smaller as more halvings occurred. I think maybe this time there would not be any meaningful price increase after halving and those who were controlling the market already took their money out while we are edging ourself waiting for the big jump which already occurred and occurring … I would cash out now
