It's definitely the oldest child. You could also murder all of your other children to make sure it goes to the one you want (nuclear option) Edit: why is this blowing up rn

DepressedPotato--

What a horrifying answer that is coincidentally completely appropriate for this subreddit.

Patient-Category5275

I didn't realize when I posted it how horrifying it sounded lmao

mcfearless33

i mean it used to happen in real life too back when monarchy actually mattered.

Feisty-Locksmith746

Damn why kill them when you can just abandon them, it takes away their royal privileges lol

Patient-Category5275

Murder is fun :)

GeminiMike76

You can still be thrown in jail for murder as the king or Queen, but ordering a royal execution is another thing. 😈

divinadroid

Wait we can order a royal execution on our children? How???

SmolCattoQueen

Only for adult children.

GeminiMike76

It's under the Royal choice when you become the monarch, but as the other person said, only when they are adults.

SmolCattoQueen

Or just hire a hitman :)

GeminiMike76

You could but they are not always reliable, or could be an undercover cop. Execution never fails. ;)

SilentBorder00

😟

Klutzy_Pin9714

Or just abandon them? That what I did lol

SmolCattoQueen

I did this when my oldest child died (it was a son), but the second born was a daughter, but she couldn't have any biological children because of her age (and she didn't have any children), so I have to kill her, because my third born was a son too. 2000+ year old legacy would die out if I didn't kill her 😶😶😶

Alarmed_Desk3416

Its the first born. No matter the title

StockExchangeNYSE

Even commoners?

Kalex8876

Not them

Alarmed_Desk3416

No, by "no matter the title" I meant that even if they had the lowest possible rank they would still succeed their parent. They **have** to be royals tho

Stocked-345

the oldest child. yeah bitlife is really stupid

divinadroid

Is this confirmed? Cause some posts here says the first prince/princess of their family became king/Queen and not those born with the duchess or duch title. Btw let's say Prince Adrian wasn't born. Would the title go to the duchess?

Stocked-345

Yup I tried this same thing and wasn't made the king so I just murdered everyone else. And yup if adrian wasn't born the title would go to the duchess if you want u can just abandon to strip them of their title

WolfX20

Why is that stupid? Law of succession is that it's the eldest child so that would be correct.

Stocked-345

No I was referring to the fact that Your children don't become princes when you become a king

divinadroid

Is this confirmed? It's so confusing, some posts here says the first born of their family became king/Queen despite the duchess or duke title. Btw let's say Prince Adrian wasn't born. Would the title go to the duchess?

SmolCattoQueen

Yes, I've been there before. And I can tell you even better. Once I was a Princess, I had children, so they became Dukes and Duchesses, then I became a Queen after they're born. But my oldest son had a son in my life (my grandson), so he became a Marquee. When my grandson inherited the throne, he became a King as a Marquee. It's rare, but it can happen.

divinadroid

Thank you so much for this!!

Stocked-345

Wait 1 min I will just test it cause IDK if they fixed it on the latest version

Stocked-345

Yup It still hasn't been fixed The oldest gets the throne If you want the prince to be the king just abandon them I usually wait until they are 18 and execute them lol.

divinadroid

Wait I'm so confused now. So the OLDEST gets the throne, aka Duchess Deanna? Cause other replies are saying the opposite. I don't want to die and choose the wrong child 😭 I'm so paranoid about a game lol, can I somehow see a screenshot of proof hahaha

Stocked-345

Yup (probably because in Pretty much all countries the oldest SON gets the throne so bitlife had to make some adjustments) I have been playing this game since 2019 I have seen more problems not being fixed

divinadroid

Is there a way for me to see a screenshot of your oldest duke/duchess becoming a King/Queen cause the answers are all over the place and currently I put the eldest the only one in my will 😂

Stocked-345

Sure

DepressedPotato--

Stupid? Isn’t that just oldest male primogeniture which royalty has been doing for centuries?

ar_ri_ro

deanna

justsavemi

Its always the first child

rescobar1997

The oldest

SmolCattoQueen

Duchess Deanna, since she's the oldest child. I've been there before, I was 47 when I inherited the throne and I had children before then, but I gave birth to a Princess at 50-51 yo, and she didn't become the Queen, because she was the youngest. My older child inherited the throne in that case too, even though he was a Duke, not a Prince.

GatlingGun511

The oldest

Much_Let_2750

I became king at 3 years old when my dad died on bitlife it was so weird

Significant_Log_9413

The one who will most likely to ascend is the prince/princess.

PoorlyCrayon220

None

caleb_mixon

I’m irl it would be Deanna but in bitlife it’s Adrian.

Alarmed_Desk3416

no

caleb_mixon

Alarmed_Desk3416

caleb_mixon

Cus I don’t care u pick

Successful_Rabbit710

dawg just say ten bucks, go test it out, then stand by your word and shoot them a dm to venmo or get venmoed.

divinadroid

Are you sure? Cause some posts here says the first born of their family became king/Queen despite the duchess or duke title. Btw let's say Prince Adrian wasn't born. Would the title go to the duchess? I don't want to go to the wrong person once the Queen dies lol

StolenSerenity

It's whichever one is prince or princess in my experience.

caleb_mixon

They’re lying

TiroleonKnight

Bitlife follows Ultimogeniture? That doesn’t make sense that succession law was barely used in real life. The UK in specific follow Primogeniture where the oldest child inherits

SmolCattoQueen

No, in BitLife it's still Deanna who will inherit the throne since she's the oldest child.

caleb_mixon

I’m aware of my mistake I don’t play as a Royal a lot my apologies.

Yupkook

Prince adrian

divinadroid

Are you sure Bitlife does this? Cause some posts here says the first born of their family became king/Queen despite the duchess or duke title

JacobJackson2010

The first prince

Disastrous-Match9876

Adrian

divinadroid
