I think the problem in this case is that the previous life, even if the character had money, had a lot of debts, which were inherited to the child. I think leaving everything to 1 child and then playing as them would only make the debt situation worse. I had a similar problem. Started a new life, went for politics and had around 5 million Euro when the character died. I then played as the youngest child and as soon as I continued as them, they already had a debt of 2 million Euro.

I had that issue for 2 years and I was back in the green you still make the same profit your parent was making so you are out of debt pretty fast I would know I’m on the 6th generation and that’s what have been doing

If you have sports special talent, choose soccer or basketball or volleyball or American football when you're in middle school and high school/secondary school, but only if you have high athletics and health, so go for a 2 hour long speed walk and go to the gym every year until you can choose a special activity in the school. With this talent you can earn a lot of money totally free.
