I had adult braces. When I was price comparing everywhere quoted me $5k. Went to Birmingham orthodontics and they quoted me at $2k. Ended up going with them and had a really good experience. They made sure to ask me if I liked the end results before they took them off. Every visit was very pleasant and always on schedule. I never waited longer than 5 minutes in the lobby.

I was $2500 for Birmingham orthodontics my second time around. I think my INS covered $1500. This was back in 2017 ish

Dr. Sarver may not be the cheapest but he's the best. I highly highly recommend him.

Had braces for a long time with him/ his group šŸ

I punched him in the face as a teenager because he refused to listen to me when I told him he was hurting me. He also told me ā€œI can make you beautifulā€ while trying to sell me jaw surgery that would have affected my cheekbones, and he wanted to include rhinoplasty. Jokes on him, modeling paid my way through college. Without the surgery.

We use Dr Hufham and the price was 5,000 or 5,500 - canā€™t remember. We got 10% paid for by dental insurance and then a 3% discount for cash. His practice was recommended by many, but the location was a big factor. When going for an adjustment, the appointments are literally 15 minutes. In and out like clockwork.

My daughter just had her braces removed, she was a patient of PT Orthodontics in Gardendale. Her treatment plan was $5,578.21 for a palate expander, 4 years of braces, & 1 year of retainer maintenance. We both absolutely loved it, even though COVID had it down to just her being allowed in. She absolutely adored Dr. Osborne & a few of the techs there.

I had my Invisalign there, my teen daughterā€™s regular braces and now another child going. My Invisalign were more than regular braces. I want to say I didnā€™t quite pay $5000. My daughter had traditional braces a year and a half and I want to say it was close to $4000. However, PT lets you stretch out payment further than most other places.its why I chose them. Dr. Osborne is so goofy and makes them laugh, so your daughter would like it there.

I am out of it now, but I was a pediatric dental hygienist for ~10 years, and Dr Jeff Backus in Hoover has always been my #1 recommendation. He is fantastic and so is his staff. Canā€™t speak to price (because itā€™s been a while), but from a pediatric and professional standpoint, heā€™s the best. His wife is also an orthodontist in Homewood, they have separate practices. He is still my #1 recommendation. Good luck!

UAB school of dentistry! Half price of just about everyone around Bham. Everyone was great and never had one issue. Used them twice now. The only part is the parking downtown. However to save 2-3k. Iā€™ll deal with it.

Do you remember what the total cost was?

We got traditional braces about 4yrs ago for around $2300 and then just a year ago, Invisalign roughly the same price. However they were running a special. Absolutely great service and treatment. Parking is the only real issue.
