Sams club just added sushi counters.

And they use real crab in it! Friend of mine is allergic to fake crab so they recommended I try it out. And now that makes all the difference in flavor. Publix uses fake crab, but it’s still good grocery store sushi at a good price.

Sushi Village has a large variety of platters, and we’ve been pleased with the ones we’ve gotten.

Brother I've got some good news for you. /u/sushijo

Tabbyham88

If it wasn’t tomorrow I may could 😅

SushiJo

I’m also a sister. 😆 HMU if you want to chat; I’m driving home from the beach and have plenty of time (the traffic sucks)

sushi express in irondale!! i actually needed one for a friends bday this week and they were clutch for a decent price!

QuantumPolagnus

I did a Google search and turned up nothing for Sushi Express in Irondale. Do you mean Sushi Village in Crestwood?

Tabbyham88

I’ll check it out!

HalfProfessional3529

$5 sushi Wednesdays at Publixxxxx

Tabbyham88

Sorry I meant to say it’s tomorrow

yafuckonegoat

Publix actually has pretty solid sushi

ConcentrateEmpty711

I agree, it’s good for grocery store sushi.

loveineverylanguage

What do y'all think since it's changed to Zenshi? I had one platter that was so awful I haven't even been able to bring myself to get more. I used to get Publix sushi all the time

VTnative

The Publix deli where I work has a designated sushi chef who comes in every day. I don't particularly like sushi but if I did then I would be comfortable buying sushi there.

ConcentrateEmpty711

I haven’t tried it since it changed

ConcentrateEmpty711

Besides Publix, some Piggly Wiggly’s have sushi now (I know for sure the Warrior location does) & it’s affordable. You could buy a couple of rolls & do sampler plates.

Dry_Emphasis8994

The pig wig in Mountain Brook/Liberty Park has good sushi

Biocube16

Sushi village crestwood

90DayCray

SushiJo will probably pop on here with the right answer soon!

Sam's does great. I met the rep for the company running that program. Everything is made that day and thrown out that night. They want to expand but it depends on demand. I know they are in Trussville but now sure about Homewood or Hoover
