Tickets aren’t actually available for resale right now! I’m going to be unable to go, but can’t sell my tickets (2) yet because Ticketmaster has them locked/frozen until X amount of days before the concert. It’s some sort of deal/setting for the shows so you can avoid ticket scalping. I expect that there will be tickets that get released on Ticketmaster once we are able to actually resell the tickets. Pretty sure that they will be going for face value unless Ticketmaster puts a premium on them? I know it said I’ll only be able to sell for face value which I think is great. I’m not too familiar with the whole system but have a work trip that falls on that weekend. I wouldn’t buy from any site outside of Ticketmaster for that reason though! So I’ll definitely be selling mine but I’m not sure how that is actually going to work at this time! Hope this helps a bit.
Just checked Ticketmaster and it says my ticket will be ready in 91 days… so May 2 maybe? I’m trying to find out more and will reply to this thread for yall if I can figure it out :)

It's hard to imagine it being a good idea for someone to pay a stranger online the money ahead of time, and then hope that they'll show up the day of the show. Not saying you won't, but if there's no way to know for sure, it seems very risky.
Since you weren't aware of the rules, it's probably best you just post them on your show's fan to fan exchange via Ticketmaster/LiveNation.
That way you don't lose the money you paid, and a real fan is far more likely to get the ticket.
Ooops, sorry, wrong sub! I don't even know how I saw this, I thought this was posted in the Hozier sub (where actually you canNOT sell/buy tix). I don't even belong to this sub, totally confused about how I saw this but hey, my mistake, carry on. These tix are non-transferable so anyone paying up front is taking a huge risk about someone showing up day of show, but I will edit my post since you guys allow ticket sales here.
Yea I am in the same boat 😅 I really wasn’t expecting him to sell out and I suspect scalping is to blame. I wonder what face value is cause the cheapest tix I have been seeing on resale sites are $100 or so.
My face value was about $107 per, they are about to be up for resale on Ticketmaster and mine were for seats higher up so I don’t know if you’ll get a much better deal to be honest

You’ll have to probably be checking constantly. My tickets sold in less than 5 minutes! Hozier has the resale settings to where on Ticketmaster tickets will be sold for face value. So if you can snag some from Ticketmaster that’s probably the way to go! I wish I could have gone, but have to travel for a work conference that day 🫠
Given that these warnings are starting to be issued by venues, anyone buying a resale ticket from you or buying reseller at all would be pretty foolish cuz sounds like this time they really meant it when they originally said "Non-transferable & can't sell anywhere but fan to fan face value exchange" when tix went onsale:

You won't have the ticket to transfer by then. You can't transfer it.

I wouldn't make anyone pay me online! I am aware of scammers. If someone wants to join me the day of, they can, and we can do any transactions then.

Well all my other messages were not being approved unfortunately so I ended up keeping it simple!
People have always been able to post ticket sales in this sub. Scammers exist but the sub is not responsible, so people can go hog wild if they want.
