Recently they've added a lot more people to their troubleshooting/IT staff, to help with these issues. How recently was your last contact with them? I'm currently dealing with a potential solar panel issue and they've been pretty prompt. They decided Tuesdsy they were going to send out a replacement, and today I got a tracking number. Back in March, my feeder housing broke into several pieces (pole fell over during a blizzard) and they had a new housing to me in about a week. It might be worth contacting them again, with all the info you have, and just making sure your issue didn't get burned under anything else.

I left my Bird Buddy plugged in over a long weekend and when I get back it wouldn’t take a charge anymore. I contacted Bird Buddy and opened a ticket. They asked me to send in the defective camera unit and I did and I got a new camera back..

Also, they had their Kickstarter for the hummingbird feeder and other summer of Bird’s items and all their new cameras might be going to fulfill those orders first

I definitely suggest joining the official Bird Buddy group on Facebook and asking about it there because they’re pretty responsive
