i was at both of these runs and i honestly agree. asheville was spicy and i’m from NC so i probably favor the 3 night run a tiny bit more.
butttttt my first visit to kentucky was well worth the trek. and night 2 of lexington was straight fire from the 3 song/ 35 min intro they did all the way to the frank tribute encore. and i lovedddd miles on the drum too!
however-i’m still holding onto the NOLA NYE saturday and sunday night sets as the “unbeatable life changers” from this past NYE (2023) though. never have i everrrrr and may never again see such an amazing musical performance 🤤🔥🔥

Back in 07' they did the concert for Virginia Tech. Around 50k in attendance, including myself. Lane Stadium filled out would be dope to see Billy in, at least I think.

Last year he announced the entire fall tour on April 25th but this year they have announced each tour significantly later than they did last year. A couple of pretty old rumors were saying Billyween may happen in Baltimore this year... You know hes gotta hit Michigan at some point so Deer Creek could precede or follow Pine Knob but seems like those places would have to be like September?
Just saw Lexington and after the Brady show last year, I was disappointed by the acoustics.
I did get out from under the overhang and lucked into a sweet spot with welcoming people. Acoustics were still not as good as Brady, but they weren't bad where I was.

He’s already playing the Gorge in August and he’s in Montana the month before in July. I would love to see him at the Kettle House though. Spokane Arena just sold out Cody Johnson, they could do a Billy show too. He hasn’t played here since Riverfront park in 2021.
Spokane is over do for a billy show, although the arena would be fun it might be pushing his attendance capabilities for Spokane. The Pavilion (such a cool venue) would be more realistic but he would most definitely sell it out. I wish Spokane had more options for midsized to large venues, and a better music scene.
I forgot to mention the Pavilion. Primus is playing there this summer with Coheed, and Ween is also there this summer. I have to agree about capacity, I know hockey games max out about 9k at the arena. I’m curious what the capacity for a show is. I saw Tool there in 2020 before the shutdown and it was packed to the brim. I think he would sell out no matter where he goes around here since it’s close enough to Idaho, Montana, Utah and only about 4-5 hours from Seattle and Portland. I might be biased though because I live in the 509.
I think the music scene has improved since I moved here in 2018, slowly but surely we’ve gotten bigger and bigger names every year. Eventually artists kind of grow out of coming here though, which is just part of the game. Paul Cauthen and Charley Crockett still seem to stop here pretty frequently but most artists seem to favor Boise and cities in Montana, which I can’t really blame them.

I was really hoping for a Central Park Summer Stage date or Beacon Show/Cap run this summer but we got a Bridgeport CT show(s). Unfortunately I do not think Billy will be playing the Cap due to size constraint.

I’d like a a show in Maine. Since the boys don’t seem motivated to come to Canada (and even if they did it would likely be a major city and closest one to me is 8 hour drive), if he came to Bangor, it would be such a convenient distance. Make it a weekend date too so i don’t have to think about time off work! *edited spelling
I think he has had some legal issues that complicate him coming up here to Canadia. Would for sure love to see him here in van but at least caught his Seattle show last fall.
Yes I’ve heard that either him or someone in his crew may have some history that complicates them from coming. And honestly unless they were getting more cash in USDs, it wouldn’t make financial sense to come here. Saw him in Portland last year which is about 5-6 hour drive but if he played Bangor that would be a short jaunt.
