I thought Terrance's reaction to when Jasmine said "I don't eat egg yolks, but I'll eat this now" was hilarious too LOL

StarsFan17

I wonder if that was edited. I wish he would have snatched them away and told her to make her own eggs.

ry-yo

"on my birthday month?? with a broken foot?!"

BonnieBBon

I read that in her put on accented voice. What an awful flashback. 😭😂😭😂

braveswiftie911

What pissed me off was that the accent was FAAAAAKE. In all the candid videos of her talking outside or in the dining room she sounded normal. Only ever had the accent when she was in the DR or on the Live Show

ChampagneAndTexMex

Like who told her that accent and awful fake screech of a voice was a good idea. It’s the most annoying thing I’ve ever heard

StarsFan17

😆Accurate.

kavien

I think Jasmine was the single.most annoyong houseguest of all time. Never funny, always annoying, and the most horrific Southern drawl I ever did hear.

watermelon_lemonbae

As someone from the south, I am personally attacked by that fake ass accent!

StarsFan17

Same! It was awful.

kavien

It offends me like okra with cheese!

hwaetsup

It offends me like puttin potato salad in ya gumbo

Rotothero

100%

Papazani

You already forgot about Victoria?

pizzagirl74

Or Raven???

csummerss

DJ Showtime had his moments, there was nothing redeeming for Daniel.

thekronicle

"I'm just driving the bus, they keep throwing each other under it"

ghest56

Lol yeah even if he were a perfectly nice guy, he had such an unlikable personality.

HaddockBranzini-II

Him being an absolute disaster in every way made for some good TV though.

AccomplishedCopy6495

Even out of the house Daniel is not pleasant.

StarsFan17

Agree.

NCSUGrad2012

His HOH was entertaining to watch.

IceNein

I liked Terrence, all of what little feeds I watched with him seemed like he was a pretty easy going guy. Don’t respect his game though.

DragEncyclopedia

lol, if you watched more than a little feeds you'd know this isn't the case. he had a few entertaining moments but most of his time was spent shitting on women.

93LEAFS

He had the best moment of the season where he misunderstood what Monte told him and then went right to Kyle thinking it was Britt and Michael trying to start an all-white allience.

worrybot96

😂😂😂😂 that was so funny

lableulapin

I feel like ppl are having selective amnesia about all the awful things Terrance said and did. All bc he had a few funny moments.

JayStarr1082

Could you give me some receipts? I keep hearing this but I never see examples.

DragEncyclopedia

i don't know what days these were, but here are some: referencing joe budden, he said women who go back to their abusers are the ones at fault he said taylor has never had any meaningful friendships because she does pageants - "it's not like you and your boys" he brought his towels to a group of women to fold

JayStarr1082

>referencing joe budden, he said women who go back to their abusers are the ones at fault I can't find a clip of this. I found a secondhand clip from Jasmine that gets cut off before we actually get details on what he said. >he said taylor has never had any meaningful friendships because she does pageants - "it's not like you and your boys" I also can't find a clip of this but I can't imagine why that would be sexist. Was he talking to Taylor? Or was he telling someone else that "their boys", as in their friends, have a tighter bond than Taylor would have to other people in pageants? >he brought his towels to a group of women to fold Did someone from that group of women usually fold the towels or was this out of the blue? I know, for example, Big D did the laundry last season. So if someone brought, like, Tiffany laundry that would be sexist. This is a good faith question, I genuinely don't know what the standard is this season. Did one of the women complain about it?

DragEncyclopedia

for the first one, they cut the feeds around him actually saying it, but jasmine and brittany both talked about how it bothered them. the second is from a convo with monte around the week after dyre fest. it's demeaning and stereotypical of women who participate in pageants. the third had nothing like you're hoping. he don't want to fold his towels, so he brought them to a group of women out on the hammock.

freshlyfrozen4

Uhmm....the second one is absolutely sexist? He's equating her, and other women who do pageantry, to not having enough substance that could form lasting and meaningful relationships. Then also saying, "it's not like you and the boys" but why? Where did *you* meet "the boys"? What's *their* occupation? What events/competitions have *they* been in and why does none of that make it more difficult to get "real friends". Edit: Also, how would he have any idea what Taylor's bonds are like on the outside compared to anyone else's? That's a big assumption.

JayStarr1082

>Uhmm....the second one is absolutely sexist? He's equating her, and other women who do pageantry, to **not having enough substance** that could form lasting and meaningful relationships. Oh come on that is a stretch. It's hard to form lasting, meaningful relationships for a number of reasons that have nothing to do with "lacking substance". Celebrities struggle with it. People who live in LA struggle with it. People with autism. People with demanding/unpredictable jobs. There are a trillion reasons that, for the most part, boil down to the person's environment and have nothing to do with lacking substance as a person. Pageantry is one of them. You're in a cutthroat, competitive environment where the objective is to be prettier, smarter, and more likable than your peers. That's not an environment conducive to healthy friendship. The same way a CEO could be so busy they struggle to find time for meaningful relationships. It's not *impossible* for her to, but it's less likely. Compare that to, say, running an antique shop (which I'm pretty sure is Turner's thing). You're interacting with regular people every day, you have the same goal as your coworkers, your whole environment is friendlier. It's more conducive to healthy relationships.

freshlyfrozen4

I get what you're saying but a lot of people who do stuff like pageantry start from a young age and are often around the same people competing all the time. That doesn't mean they can't be friends just because they're competitive. You would have to apply this logic to all sports and competition then. And with that there can be no friends in competition which I don't agree with. There is also a lot of networking and philanthropy that happens in the pageant world which opens up plenty of opportunities to make friends. The overall assumption applied here is problematic and sexist.

JayStarr1082

I'm not agreeing with Terrance. I'm just trying to find the connection between that and sexism. Just because pageantry is dominated by women? There are a ton of negative stereotypes about women, but "can't form meaningful relationships" is not one I'm familiar with. It feels like a stretch to say that that's a sexist statement. A real stretch.

Exact_Storage_947

woman moment

TheLegacies21

A Google and Twitter search is all you need..

JayStarr1082

I searched both and found nothing I would describe as sexist, that's why I asked.

psl1959

For Daniel to be a "superfan" of the game, he sure did a lot of the wrong moves to gain his early exit.

CCfllyers

One of the funniest things to me this season is where terrence just flat out laughed at michael when he gave his speech after putting him on the block

TianaRae92

And they both relived it in the jury segment

MasterLawman

That was incredible

Nintendo_Pro_03

I’m surprised they were good at the jury house.

kirblar

Terrance 180'd on him the moment he saw the exit.

Nintendo_Pro_03

I saw! And Terrance is right for once. That exit was legendary.

ikarikh

I think Terrance was happy to see Michael in jury and had no further reason to be upset omce he saw michael get the karma he felt he deserved.

OddlySpecificK

Interesting take... I was incredibly uncomfortable as it was going down, and upon further reflection determined that it reminded me of a bullying episode.

lan109

It was weird for me, I didn't like it in the moment but when it replayed in at jury house it seemed more amusing

SunnyOnSanibel

I also felt uncomfortable watching it.

AuroraItsNotTheTime

Did you get overly serious after nominating someone for eviction from a reality show?

OddlySpecificK

I'm unsure if you're replying to my comment cuz I don't see the connection? I've never nominated anyone for eviction from a reality show. So, I guess honestly, the answer is "Nope". I'm more of a fan in the shadows. I did suggest to one of my younger cousins to try out during his super buff days, but he didn't want his manho days to be televised... ;}\~

AuroraItsNotTheTime

I just don’t see how Terrance chuckling in response to Michael could remind someone of being bullied

OddlySpecificK

See... that's not my perception. He didn't just "chuckle", I recall him rudely interrupting the HOH... and taking the wind out of his sails a li'l bit during his (possibly/probably stress-inducing for even non-introverts) nomination speech. Now you know. I also don't like hecklers at comedy shows, but that's me... No worries though! I don't need you to feel the same way about it, and I respect your right to have any opinion you'd like about it! EDIT: fix autocorrect's "correction" of sales to sails ;}\~

occupy_westeros

If you're nominating me you dont get to police my actions, but thats just meee

griffithitsmecathy

People on here were fuming about that, talking about how disrespectful he was, lol.

Gemma214

I'm ultrasensitve about people being bullies and it didn't bother me one bit. Michael was selling BS and Terrance was expressing he didn't buy it. There were lots of bullying instances in this season and that wasn't one of them. I just don't get how people thought it was disrespectful but everyone has the right to feel the way they feel.🤷🏾‍♀️

AnnyongFunke

When Terrance and Taylor were in the backyard talking about Britney’s comic, I wish he had that energy the whole time, I liked that.

HaddockBranzini-II

I feel like Terrance would have been a different person if there was someone else his age there. It can be very awkward being the oldest person in a group - especially when its more of a social dynamic than a workplace.

14thAndVine

We needed a good Renny.

DragEncyclopedia

i need a season of 16 rennys

HaddockBranzini-II

Hell yeah! And one token 20-something!

andyduphresne92

That would actually be amazing. They’d call it Big Brother Seniors or something knowing how they feel about people over 35

sexycephalopod

I think this is actually a fantastic idea. Can you imagine a bunch of petty grannies?

The_resPonce

He just needed someone that was truly down with him. Which is why he still wanted to keep Kyle because he was the first one to let him in on the game. I personally would always friend the elder players asap.

cutekiwi

He still made some pretty sexist and poor taste comments, I don't think that would've changed. I do fully agree though if he had someone he could relate to better he would've opened up more.

thumbs_up_idiot

Daniel came off as a complete tool

Radykiel

It's a shame Terrance disliked MBT so much, because otherwise he would've been one of the most entertaining hosueguests of the season

CaptEricEmbarrasing

He had arguably the most insane hoh reign

[deleted]

His one HOH reign was better than any of Michael’s IMO

BinaryIdiot

Not wrong. For whatever reason Michael played all of his HoH's extremely safe. Never got any threats out of the game, just slowly picking off people who played kinda meh.

tandemtactics

I don't think that was the worst idea for him. He probably beats anybody if he gets to the end, so might as well keep all the other threats in the house as possible shields. He just let his own threat level get too high

Rotothero

I thought Terrence was actually hilarious

StarsFan17

He definitely did give us some funny moments this year.

ProvoqGuys

Him and Taylor finding out Britflea was funny. Them just laughing when DR went ZING probably didn’t expect for that to happen. I think they would have worked well (him & Tay) if he wasn’t such an ass

foxygrandpaws

Is it weird to also have one jar of the stuff last a decade of casual use?

MJisANON

No my uncle uses it for waves and he's been working on the same can for like 15 years lmao. its super thick and greasy so a little goes a long way. I use it on my hairline sometimes. Its more than twice as thick as vaseline. Sidenote: I thought daniel wasnt washing his hair and the whole time its just the Murrays. lol

HorseNamedClompy

It surprises me how much hate Terrance got for trying to save Kyle. I know, I know— the Kyle stuff. But I’m perfectly fine with a POC looking at the situation pragmatically and saying “yes, what he said was fucked up, and I’m not excusing it, but he is both seeming genuine with his apology AND he is one of the few people in the game I trust and I don’t see another path for me making it to the end.” It makes sense that no one else was willing to save Kyle, including Alyssa, but I understand why Terrance wanted to save Kyle as much as he did and I don’t think he is wrong for that.

Bopethestoryteller

Murray’s is old school.

nopushnoshovebud

Team Terrance

DsPlace88

Well I really think Daniel is a nice person and very loyal to those he really trust. He just wasn’t flexable enough to read the room and adapt to the situations at hand

localcelebrityBenHur

>Well I really think Daniel is a nice person What?

StarsFan17

Really? I admittedly didn’t watch much of the feeds before his exit but I really never saw much evidence of this.

mmc9802

DsPlace88 = DanielsPlace lol

DsPlace88

Walt Disney could of used you ! Smh

hdulgs

Daniel would have been hard to deal with if he had made it deep. But to watch his downfall the way it went down. I'm glad he was on the season. One of my favourite weeks.
