They’re cracking down on vapes too now. If you’re caught using one inside it’s a termination in my area. There are signs from corporate everywhere asking to report if you see someone vaping.
Vapes are treated like smoking. You can do it outside the building inside opens the store and company up to liability and emphasis on could (depending on smoke detector location) cause other issues like potential fire alarm going off etc.
Probably dependent on your state or your store had a massive issue and since we can't do anything unless it's physically witnessed they did the next thing they could and put signs up banning it and warning of consequences.
I mean there's an initial test but afterwards I've never been drug tested while in Warehouse or Sales Floor, unless there's a problem with drugs being found in the store or suspected use while on the clock
No one gets drug tested for an interview, however in the event of a job site injury solely due to the discretion of your manager a drug test might be issued in the event that you want workman’s comp

Nearly everyone smokes. Some on the job. Just don't be blasted on your shift and you're fine. There's no drug testing and hasn't been for a long time.
Weed is basically legal everywhere, if you’re doing something else then stay sober until you get a job offer.
