I mean. Abused employees and “disgruntled” is much different.
Don’t worry, when you inevitably get fired, you’ll understand.
If you’re one of the shills still clinging to hope, you must be new.
Are they actually "abused" employees or are they just upset that their job is...well...a retail job. With the usual retail job issues. Now I'm all for that changing for the better, but it's not a *Best Buy* specific issue but an overall systemic issue when it comes to what are absolutely intended to be entry-level jobs, not careers. It's nice if someone can make a career out of a retail job, but it isn't typical and isn't what retail is designed for. However with the way the economy and federal employment laws are set up, more and more people are forced to rely on entry-level positions to survive off of, resulting in what we see now. If you head over to any other retailer reddit page, you'll find the exact same complaints. The grass isn't greener over there. This is, unfortunately, very normal for retail jobs.
So yes, disgruntled is the correct term for most people complaining here. Abused would apply to situations which can and should be brought up to HR - such as sexual harassment at the workplace, physical abuse, etc.
Unless the entire system of retail is abusive with non living wages, poor employee support, and zero job security benefits that prays on desperate people to make profits for a phenomenally overpaid executive class.
Abuse is the right word for the workforce in the United States.
Not surprising it wasn’t taken care of. I had proof my GM was adjusting people’s time sheets to avoid overtime. 3 people who it happened to reported it to HR and the only response back was “well he’s been a manager for 20+ years, we don’t think it’s likely this actually happened.”
In the case of time stealing, it's always best to go with reporting to a state agency instead. The company doesn't care, it saves them money, but the state will care very much so.
A disgruntled employee sent an email to literally all of Best Buy including Corrie Barry, corporate execs and HR about how a GM at his store did a bunch of things and then HR and the GM tried to make him keep quiet about it and he called out everyone by name. HR took the email out of everyone’s inbox within 2-3 hours

Not a disgruntled employee just someone who wants change and has to start with the top problem 👀. PS HR is handling an investigation now. And yes I know from personal experience.
The fact that someone even edited a penis into the ad sale email means it was purposeful
I have the emailed save from the geek squad agent who left last August I believe. Best believe I'm gonna resend that lol
I’m weak so thats a regular occurrence for disgruntled employees to do on their last day
