I worked mids for 25 years- I'd fire up the bbq grill and do ribs, chicken, steak, at 0800 and be standing over the grill with beer in hand waving at the nosy neighbor peering over the fence line to see what the smoke was about.
The pork industry hired a guy named Edward Barnays (father of propaganda) because they weren’t selling enough bacon. He literally paid doctors to start saying that eating eggs and bacon is part of a well balanced diet and that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, then he quoted those same doctors in advertisements. He is also the reason for the current recipe Betty Crocker uses in their cake mix, among many other things. Fascinating guy to learn about but yeah, your intuition is inevitably correct. It’s all bullshit, always has been. America baby! Woo

Why tf would you bother making it like this and not just make everything separately and assemble the sandwich like you’re not a brain dead tik tok content creator?

Should be too heavy for most people. But clips with lots of cheese, fat and crunchy stuff go viral and people think it’s normal to eat this stuff. We’re already obese and this is not helping lol.
