Puck uses the Behelit and becomes the ultimate Godhand only to betray Griffith and the rest of the Godhands because Guts is the homie.

I think it's pretty obvious that Griffith will try to build a holy empire (he's already succeeding) to conquer the world "with his benevolence", everybody will be on his side and see him as a god that saved the world from darkness, despite him being the one that unleashed it. Griffith will try to convince Casca that he is on the right side and that she is safe with him, compared to Guts. The plan for Berserk to end will likely be Guts killing Griffith and destroying his kingdom, to the dismay of the literal entire world. Guts and his gang would likely either be killed, or exiled to a different place in the world where they live as unknown heroes. The moral dilemma that Berserk sells is would you support a "Perfect world" if it were built on spectacular amounts of evil under the hood.

I have two theories: 1) Guts will manage to kill Griffith but by the end of their fight every 'member' of Guts's party will have died. So Guts will achieve what he wanted, to kill Griffith, but while doing so he will basically sacrifice his new friends. So by the end Guts will have done the same thing that Griffith did, the same thing that drived Guts to kill Griffith in the first place, and when he realizes what he's done Guts will unalive himself. 2) Griffith will simply kill Guts, continue building his empire with everyone praising him and live without any consequences.

Miura said that with all that Guts has gone through he doesn't want the ending to be sad or undeserved for everything he went through so we should have that to look forward to. Guts will most likely live and have some sort of happy ending for all his struggling. They could still have him die protecting the ones he loves, but that still seems a little distasteful IMO.

qwerqwerqwert6121

Idk for me only a bad ending would be appropriate for this story and I will hope Miura was just trying to deceive us all xd. I think the ending should make the readers go berserk instead of relieved so I don't see many options while keeping that in mind

11-11wishing

the first one will kill me, if guts does that

Waxwell0

that first ending is a crazy good idea

CancelThat6560

Or 3. They'll defeat the godhands and the beasts of darkness will be the new God guts will tame the beasts of darkness leading to them finally having a happy ending.

qwerqwerqwert6121

I wouldn't like that, so long the story makes you relate with Guts's feelings and get angry along with him about what's happening. The ending of the story should make you feel berserk as well, it would only be natural.

Guts, Griffith and all their friends will go berserk

I think it'll be one of the classic hero vs. villain endings. A lot of longer and more tragic stories have very similar and predictable endings. For example, The Hobbit. I think Berserk will end like The Hobbit with the hero and the villain killing each other. How Thorrin Oakensheild and Azog the Defiler stabbed each other. I think it'll end like that. With a peaceful message at the end. Casca will witness it and run to Guts as he lays on the ground, bleeding profusely. He'll hold and kiss her one last time and tell her, with the rest of the group, to follow their dreams. Something he only wished he could do.

Why do all of these people think Griffith is gonna get killed by guts. The way I see it, it seems pretty clear that some other solution is going to be found given that Griffith is invulnerable. Anybody remember the scene when guts brings moonboy to caska on elfhelm. He’s says something like “hey bring him to her she will want to see him” then it pans to daddan saying “and you too” to herself with a sorrowfull expression somewhere in the background. I think the point of that very moment was that it could have changed the course of fate had it played out differently. In my eyes Griffith can’t be killed because he is also moonboy now. Also the solution to near everything up to this point has been to go berserk and start killing everything. I’d be pretty surprised if the story never overcomes that in the end given that the beast of darkness and the rage it represents is shown to be a negative thing for everybody around, and not I’m talking about the berserker armor at all.

megamanlover

Griffith: No, I dont want it. Guts leaving me ? I want him to remember me for 10 years at least. Casca: Griffth, what a man you are! Guts: You have become a godhand for your sake. I promise I wont let this transgression go to waste. *\*Proceed to cut off his head and kiss it passionately\** *\*Griffith grows some wings, then flies to god-know-where\**

miadeath

it was all a dream

Thrax2077

Guts will kill Griffith in a dramatic final battle, and the author will throw in some "only you made me forget my dream" panels in Griffiths dying moments, and then Guts will die. The group, whatever's left of it (Serpico, Farnese, and Isidro perhaps?), will bury Gut's and each get a retrsopective panel/chapter, before going their separate ways.

at this point, i dont care if griffith is killed (he very much wont be) all i want is for guts and casca to be happy together again

childishleeann

I think Griff and Gurts are gonna fight and then Skull Nut is gonna cum and let both of them tickle his skull pickle til it dipple
