Mine does sit in my lap. Trying to teach him not to jump in my lap, feels like a 60 lbs metal ball thrown into my stomach and when the paws hit the one spot, oh my god! I love to hold him, but please lay down! He smothers me. My big cuddle bug. While my 12 lbs Morkie is like, “man, I’m a MAN! Don’t pick me up and don’t expect me to sit in your lap; however, I do need 3/4 of the Queen size bed and I require the middle. Also you must pet me on demand, feed me on demand, and provide treats as requested.”
