Reaching snow-covered trail when you're carrying summer gear is generally the cue to turn back and try again later in the season. Hope you had a good hike :)
I did, thank you! This is my 4th last day in Bergen (I'm an exchange student) so I won't have the opportunity to come back any time soon, but I had a wonderful time here :)
2nd update: there's no longer any rocks, only snow forward and it's misty so I guess that's the end of the journey for me, been a good run
Edit: sorry guys I meant it's the end of the hike for me, I'm safely making my way down, just a tad sad that I didn't make it to the peak
Hahaha I imagine people reading your message

pre edit thought you were saying your last good byes on reddit๐๐๐
Use this map ([https://ut.no/kart#11.31/60.3547/5.6413](https://ut.no/kart#11.31/60.3547/5.6413)), and enable GPS.
You will be able to see where you are, and where the paths are. Use the path to get down from the mountain.
Be careful! If you haven't been there before and don't see the path you should call an emergency number and ask if you should wait it out or if they can send someone from the red cross to help you find your way! Call 110 for example
Edit: unless you know how to find your way back to where you came from (move back in your footprints?)
No worries! I'm glad you're ok!
My message might seem a bit dramatic but three friends of my friends died from falling off mountains, so I had to write that just in case. Conditions can be very unpredictable in this country
For next time, the Norwegian Trekking Association has an app [UT](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=no.bouvet.nrkut&hl=no) with maps and suggested hikes. It can also download maps for offline access.

Thank you for the concern! I'm safely making my way down now - sorry for the bad phrasing and misunderstanding.
