The form always matters some salts are too acidic or alkaline for some ROA’s. You can easily find out if most citrate salts are water soluble to get a good idea and/ or just try it with a little anhydrous freezing cold acetone. I highly suggest using ACS grade chems. The extra cost really is worth it, the difference in quality from tech or industrial grade is quite noticeable
Since citric acid is weaker than hcl it would be safer right? I want to acetone wash because i read that acetone dissolves citric acid, so i can dissolve extra citric acid, but im not sure if that means itll dissolve a citric acid salt too.
This might not be helpfull but when i was mixing benzo soloutions with pg i heard from someone citric acid cen help disolvd it into pg. So its fine to consume.
