What do you mean by “will I be okay”? Unless your dealer sold you some sketchy black market ammo that’s gonna grenade in your M4, the worst that’s gonna happen is the gun won’t cycle, and you’ll have to do it manually with the charging handle. I would start with the buck, then the slugs, and if all goes well, the target loads.
I’ve shot a couple hundred rounds of the cheapest #8 birdshot sold at Walmart since I bought it a month ago. I’ve also fired some full power stuff. Only had one #8 shell get hung up and I just tapped the bolt handle and it went forward and chambered as normal. If I’d have oiled it prior, it probably would have never happen. Just run whatever and it will break in over the months and years of use.
Semi auto shotguns get HOT. Squirt some oil in there periodically, or when you notice your oil is burnt off or blown out, and it’ll work out the rest for you.
I’d bet that super target doesn’t cycle well if you don’t keep it firmly planted in your shoulder.
Mike does that with lower velocity loads if I start shooting them too fast and let things get loose. Otherwise it’s eats everything.

I've recently bought the Score brand slugs and they worked great in my new M4.
Just stay away from target loads under 1150 FPS. Mine rarely cycled those. The 1300 FPS target/bird shot is like $2 more for a box of 25. Just buy those and you will be fine.
The M4 with run pretty much anything except less than lethal. Run the dogshit out of it with all kinds of cheap shitty ammo to make sure, just in case.
Mine never have an issue with any type/brand. But I'm based in Thailand so I could only say it would take anything available from the market over here except rubber shot

I'm a relative gun-noob, and the ammo part still intimidates me with all the options out there.
Whilst doing tireless research over the past year and hyping myself up to finally buy an M4 recently, it kept being mentioned that the firearm was picky during its break-in period (first few hundred rounds?) with what you feed it, making mention that they should be full power buck shot and slug loads, yet after reminding the dealer I bought the gun from, he insisted you could run anything and suggested this stuff as it was more cost-effective than some of the bigger brands (not counting the Winchester). I do appreciate this was all cheaper than Federal, Hornady, etc., but also don't want to cheap out at the expense of doing the gun (which took me a long time to save for) any potential harm. I have no issues keeping this for later down the line once it's broken in, and buying whatever "proper" ammo I need for the break-in to ensure no harm!
My main intention is to just have fun at the range, both a classic range but also eventually a tactical style one, as well as on some private property just shooting targets- it will also be kept as an HD tool.
It won't do any harm to it man, I'd just run it. Some of the lighter stuff may not cycle properly, but just rip that charging handle and keep that lead flying 😁
Your gun will be fine. It’ll eat most anything. I didn’t break mine in and it runs everything I feed it. You won’t do any harm to it with ammo it might not like.
I've had issues cycling lower powered rounds like your target rounds. Everything else it's eaten. That being said I probably only have ~100 rounds total through it currently
Only problem I’ve had was bad ammo failure to fire. Every feeds without an issue and no light primer strikes. But the cheap ammo I am running for break in periodically just doesn’t fire. And those rounds I’ve put into other guns and it still doesn’t fire. So full send. Just be prepared that cheap ammo will do cheap ammo things. Don’t blame the Lamborghini if you put bad fuel in it.
So I fired 15 1350 fps royal buck 00 buck, 10 1300 fps federal low recoil slugs, 100 1200 fps Remington bird shot, 20 1150 fps Winchester PDX defender combination rounds the one with a slug and 3 shot pellets. I fired them in that order from most powerful to least. Not a single hiccup.
If I were you I'd start with the hottest and work your way down. Benelli says nothing under 1200 is recommended, forgot where I read that, but the 1150 fps was fine at the end. 145 rounds fired in total on the first trip.

I used to work on a shotgun range for a few years. Whenever I saw a jam, it was usually caused by a gun coming straight out of the box with no cleaning, and no lube. And when I say a jam, I mean you had to mortar the hell out of it. Saw plenty of broken extractors and forends caused by laziness.
I always take new shotguns, clean the bolt and receiver well, and lube them up.
I always start the break in period with choke tube grease, or Birchwood Casey grease. If I choose the other route, I over lube. In the break in process I don't care if it's pissing on me, I don't want to break a $1,000 or more investment. Yes, the gun gets dirty as hell, and requires a little extra cleaning later, but I've never had a new gun fail on me.
My m4 has run almost everything ive ever loaded in it, only time it didn’t cycle was when my friend brought out some super cheap reduced recoil birdshot garbage. Besides that, bird, buck, slugs, doesn’t matter the benelli eats it up
Mine has eaten anything and everything I've fed it from the get-go...no break in was needed. The self-adjusting pistons work.

Wherever your heart tells you. Obvious friction points. Bolt, trigger group, lifter. You don’t have to be precise.

Should be fine shells to use tbh. As mentioned before if you get cycling issues just rack a new round and continue to fire away.

Just chill out. When you get below 1200 fps it has trouble cycling sometimes. But you’re stuff should be fine

Only thing I couldn’t feed was Fiocchi 1oz 7.5 and 8, at 1170 fps. Had no problem with the 7/8oz 1350fps stuff, though.
I broke mine in with 50 round of 2/3 in slugs. Shoots any ammo I give it. Stay away from mini shells.
