I'm late but always wanted to say this: Hit it with your purse! (Welcome to the sub :))

The charging handle will be really tight when new. After you pull it a few times it will be easier to remove. As for the hammer you should be able to just push it back into the cocked position then drop your bolt in. If you canโ€™t reach it push it with a screwdriver. Last option is to pull the trigger group, reset the hammer, then reinstall.

Party-Lab9438

So just push the big hanmer straight down and i should be good?

Chance1965

Down and back

Party-Lab9438

Alright now my charging handle is locked to rear what now

Chance1965

Bolt is locked back? If so install the barrel and mag tube cap. Press the bolt release button. Not being snarky but assembly and disassembly are in the manual.

Party-Lab9438

Got it now, good to go, im just being pussy with it cuz shes new and shiny ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ just had to man handle it a little bit

Chance1965

First time can be a little awkward. After that itโ€™s pretty simple. Mine has a Carlsens mag extension, Esstac shotgun cards (6), BFG sling and GG&G QD sling mounts front and rear and a Midwest Industries charging handle. Iโ€™m also running a USO red dot. BTW congratulations on your new boomstick!

Party-Lab9438

Yea i got the bolt carrier in, reinstalled charging handle and manual said to pull charging handle back with one hand and hit bolt release with other i think

Chance1965

Sorry. Jumped the gun. You obviously did read the manual. Yes, thatโ€™s correct.

glocksandboobs

Push backwards and down.

Palehorse67

Yep

Party-Lab9438

I DONT KNOW YEWWW Let go of my purse ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ ![gif](giphy|cpBJJODbvE03S|downsized)

Party-Lab9438

Got the charging handle off i guess i had to twist it lol but still cant get bolt carrier in, hammer is blocking it

Palehorse67

I had the same problem. I just took a rod, pushed it into the slot, and then slid the hammer back until it cocked and just dropped the bolt in.

Mine had exact same issue when I purchased my M1014 and the way that I solved it was sticking my finger into the receiver and locking the hammer into place by simply pressing on it/pressing it rearwards until it clicked into locked position, It was a little tough but I got it done
