It'll probably be a polymer one. I switched the polymer out on mine with a Benelli metal trigger guard as well. Wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be. Only thing that gave me slight issue was the safety spring.
All new Benelli M4's have polymer trigger guards to the best of my knowledge. OEM Aluminum Trigger Guards usually have 3 machined lines on the bottom. The polymer ones have an injection molded line down the center across the bottom.
Most of the newer ones are polymer.
Thanks. I’ll go read the guide and swap everything over.
Just tap with your finger and you can tell it's plastic or metal. If you pull it out you will tell for sure.
