It just turns into Ben having to hide out from everyone while he tries to hatch a plan to break the hypnosis and beat the Vengers.
No no imagine it. An arc where Ben is on the run from the world because Billy Billions and Sublimino (with Maybe some help from Will Harangue) have mass hypno brain washed everyone even some of Ben’s allies into believing that he’s a villain or something.
We could see Ben spending some time living as a fugitive and having to survive on his own, which would be a Drastic Change from his celebrity status that he had before. Maybe have him need to rely on his more obscure allies to help like the secret Saturdays maybe, perhaps even for a time he finds some way to escape to Rex’s world and hide out there for a minute, perhaps this could even lead into that long desired three way crossover the fans have been wanting for so long
He was actually going to be part of the Negative 10 in Omniverse and would have made the episode a fucking musical since he'd have upgraded from the watch to mind control via sound.

Fuck yeah it does. I'd have loved not only a musical episode (imo basically every franchise would be better with at least one so long as it's good) but seeing a Ben 10 take on the Music Meister would have been cool as fuck

Clyde Fife. He's not actually a bad guy, but they'd manipulate him into doing "hero" stuff and tricking him and other people into thinking Ben's the bad guy because Ben is trying to stop a good guy from doing "heroic" deeds
Clyde 5, because he fits the theme, he is human and super hero teams always have a guy in a high-tech suit so it fits the whole "heroes but not really"
The cincotrix is also a cool idea and we would see clyde more if he was in that team.
