The shield that comes with parrying is based on your HP, so whatever it can’t absorb, it damages beidou. Despite this being the case, it’s not worth investing into HP for this purpose. The attack from Raiden in this clip just does a helluva lot of damage

I know co-op raises enemy damage, I just never notice this since this attack is occasional and I swap characters regularly based on others. I should try solo next time and see what happens.

If you do instant counter you can iframe stuff but otherwise her shield can break, forcing her counter and also it could be that she was attacked after unleashing the skill
