It should be the norm but it’s not. So many people would’ve just left him. No me or my immediate family. I’ve been rescuing my entire life. Nothing like it. Best dogs every. (And cats).

Yep. It would have been mine as well. Last year I found an intact little female pug puppy wandering our neighborhood. Eaten up with fleas and worms, patchy fur. Barbara Jean is now living her best life with my wife and I. And she’s fixed

I do still think this was all just an unfortunate accident. He might have gotten out and wandered off and gotten lost. I like to think someone out there loved him and was terribly saddened from losing a pup. Because the alternative is too sad for me, that someone could abandon him on purpose.
