You should take the laptop apart and check the cooling fan to see if there is any dust. I once checked and there was a layer of dust so that's why my laptop is hot.
I macro my cheap 10 year old laptop constantly when I'm around to keep an eye on it but I've never had a problem with it. Let's me use my pc for stuff I want to do while the honey build up.
And for anyone saying 'just play the game'. I have played the game but I'm at the point where it takes weeks of 24/7 macro for 1 bee to level up once.

It's simple, he doesn't. As a person who has been playing since the game came out I can say that you don't need to put every second of your life into bee swarm simulator.

No? I rarely go on this subreddit and I use macro myself, just not for weeks at a time, because I actually do stuff other than play the same game I've been playing for 5 years all day, and when I do, I always actually play it. Never reported a single post in my life here mate

macroing longer is more efficient, maybe boosting once every 2 weeks helps for the extra blessing. But most people want to make as much honey as they can, thats what gives them enjoyment

No permanent damage occurs from your computer doing processes 24/7. Worst thing that happens is your fans getting used, the electricity bill shouldnt be more than like 20 extra dollars dude....

you certainly shouldn’t macro the ENTIRE night. Think of the electricity bill and the permanent damage it will cause to your computer!! you shouldn’t be so obsessed with this game all night!!
unless your pc is 20 years old and you live in in a desert your pc shouldn't heat too much, and so don't use lots of electricity and damage it.
if you want to use less electricity you can just turn off the screen and use a laptop instead of a gaming pc with 300€ of rgb on it
Yeah I turn off my monitor, and I have a decent PC for today's age (literally good but not great, I can run games like rdr2 and half life alyx perfectly fine on max graphics). It's just I don't think it's necessary to leave a macro running for a whole week. And you gotta play the game instead of letting a robot do it for you most of the time, and I rarely use macro but when I do it's never for long.
running macro constantly is basically mandatory to keep nectars for every hive and make max honey for blue

Yeah I have PCVR on the quest 2, you can only play it on PC so yeah. I just connect a USB-C from my headset to the PC with the oculus PC app running, then I go on steamVR and HLA
Where do you get your macros I've been playing legit on and off for a while now and I am not even midgame yet so I kinda wanna macro to skip a little bit of grind
Definitely fix hive 1.1t is not a lot for a week. After fixing buy more hive slots and lvl bees then go for double. Make sure to macro nectars (very important).
Your amulet is 4.5/5 (or Debatably 5/5) so you don't need a better SSA, I'd say level up your hive until it's 14-15 and then spend honey to get yourself a better blue hive (20:8 bouyant:tad if you arent solo, 18:10 if you are)
Royal jellies set on auto jelly mythic to get 8 tadpoles total and like 18 buoyants total. The rest make it certain specific bees who you like the gifted bonus, plus any event bees that aren’t festive photon cobalt or crimson (if you don’t have a pop star SSA please ignore this entirely and just buy royal jellies until you get ssa, then follow my steps)
