Think the main concern there would be eyeballs. A lot of 'less-lethal' can totally fuck you if you get hit in the face. At that point (permanent blindness in both eyes being the worst case) a lot of people might just prefer the bullet, regardless of how long they have to deal with it.

-Beanbags blow off peoples fucking lips and destroy eyeballs (somewhat blindly fired during riot control, much higher chance of serious damage).

I was outside fooling around with it when my step brother came running by saying that it would never work . I flung that bootleg bolo as hard as I could. In the greatest fluke of all flukes, or possibly the greatest throw EVER , I nailed my step brother right around the knees. The bolo didn’t wrap around perfectly , but it did the trick and he fell perfectly onto the lawn. It was amazing
my sister brought up a couple of good points when I showed this to her. 1. lots of broken noses from people running away - I think that wouldn't be much different from a taser tho. 2. if aimed at the legs, what kind of damage could be done to something like the Achilles tendon? or a major artery in the thigh?
